Course was wet of course but considering we had snow less than a week ago, overall still in Very playbable condition! Geeens in great shape and relatively fast for mid March round. Overall I would def recommend and an excellent value for the money!!!

Great course and I always enjoy playing here. At this price I couldn't fault the course. The conditions were very wet and windy but this was more than made up by the friendliness of the staff.

I was a "premier" member at this semi-private course for 3 seasons and love it. BRGC has a great of open holes without off-fairway trees, woodland holes and just a few forced water carries. Its mix of tee boxes and length allows players of vary different handicaps to play together easily. Conditions are typically excellent, although it does take more time to dry out after rains and suffers from fairway turf problems in the late summer. Staff is excellent and the restaurant is perfect. Also a romantic wedding location.

The staff was making snarky remarks of a customer who had difficulty explaining something because his English was not clear. One of the staff even suggested that I explain it to the other customer assuming I spoke the same language.

This happen on 12/12 in the morning.

Bull Run is one of my favorites in the area and remains so despite some challenges coming out of a very rainy last few months. They are up front in posting info that they are working to get their tees and other spots back up to their standards with overseeding, etc. The greens were a little thin in places but still rolled well. Fairways were still very good. A warm day in Oct brought out a lot of folks so the round was kinda slow. Staff is always very friendly. I'll still try to get back to Bull Run whenever I can.

Overall everything was good. Course layout is fairly easy and pretty short from the White tees. Greens were in good/great shape as were the fairways. Everything was lush due to all the rain we've had this late in the summer. Two notes for the staff. Tee boxes need to be maintained better. The grass is also too long on the tee boxes. Lastly, a beverage cart person would have been nice to have out there!

One of the best conditioned courses in the area. Free range balls, practice chipping and putting. Great people running the facility. The course is challenging and tests your skills. Can’t wait to play it again.

All of us enjoyed playing. The course was overall in good condition even though it has rained for a week. The layout is also a bit challenging. No bordom at all. And the staff of the grill was nice and professional. We will go to play again.

Nice course design. Course condition is a little rough. Lots of land to place a course - over 440 acres. A few houses but none close to the course. Wish it was in better shape. I will play it again.

Based on recent reviews and the fact that a lot of courses have been in distress, we were a bit apprehensive about playing Bull Run. we were pleasantly surprised to find that not only were they hard at work improving the course, but the greens were in great shape, the fairways did have some bare spots here and there, and most of the tee boxes were o.k. We have played this course several times a year since in opened; have seen it when it was in distress; and were glad that it's coming back!

The staff were great and friendly but the conditions were just awful. Nearly every tee box our tees were dirt. Every now and then we were lucky enough to have crab grass. They didn’t bag the clippings and that was everywhere. The course layout is nice but I’ve played better maintained courses for less than half what I payed here. I would save your money for nearly anywhere else.

A very nice layout and great staff but the fairways and tees were very neglected and hadn’t been cut in at least a week. I know that the DC area had a lot of rain in the previous days but this course needs some major TLC. The greens were in good shape but needed cutting and the pace was almost 6 hours.

Tee boxes and greens are terrible. The have let the place go with no signs of improving it. Charged $78 which was a rip off. Avoid this course. It used to be very nice, not any more.

I enjoyed this course up until the 14th hole when the rain became too heavy. Will have to play it again when the weather pattern changes. Has some challenging holes that require ball placement over length of drive.

After reading recent reviews of the conditions at Bull Run I wasn't expecting a good experience. However, the course was really in pretty good shape given the lack of rain the past few weeks Yes, several of the tee boxes were closed and played from temporary tees, but overall the fairways were in pretty good shape and the greens were in great condition. and rolled true. A very enjoyable round at just under 4 hours on a Friday on one of Northern Virginia's best layouts, and a great value at $54!

This course seems to have an ongoing problem with fairway and tee box maintenance. Several years ago (at least 10) the course had to rebuild several fairways. After that effort, the course remained in very good playing conditioner several years. Now, they seemed to be heading in a direction that will require another total rework of several fairways. The tee boxes are in really bad shape with 3 of them actually closed for repair. Lots of areas on the course where the crabgrass is taking over. This is a beautiful layout in a great location that suffers from maintenance issues. The good news is the greens are very well maintained. Hope the course can return to better days.

Course is in pretty bad shape. Greens are OK but tee boxes are pretty much all dirt and fairways have a number of dirt patches throughout the course. Course seemed to try to save more damage by over watering the course but that just made our round soggy.
