Bull Run Golf Club

I love the layout of this course! It is a pretty course. Condition was very good but Bermuda tees haven't grown in yet. Played early and flew around in well under four hours. Staff in pro shop and restaurant were friendly and helpful. Driving range could use some attention--mats and balls very worn out. Otherwise, practice area is great. Overall a very pleasant experience and decent value.

This was my first time playing the course and I really liked the course. There were things I really liked and a few things I did not so much care for.

Overall, course was in great shape with smooth fast greens. Fairways were awesome (workers were just mowing the rough for the first time this year (still early spring time). The fairways were recently mowed and were great). There are lots of very pretty looking golf holes. Very nice practice area.

Because it was still early spring, some of the bunkers had no sand and were just dirt. Other bunkers were full of sand and nice. The tee boxes were all shaved down low and brown and looked bad vs. how nice the rest of the course looked.

The course is challenging, but fair. I would defiantly play this course again.

Really enjoyed this round! Fairways where in good shape and rough was long. The greens where very fast and challenging. Sand could have been better! Overall a great round!

Had 1pm tee time- teed off around 125. They had a big frost delay that morning. We got paired with some members who helped around on the front 9. Pace of play was poor. Took 2:45 to play the front and the members we were with had enough by the turn. My buddy and I stopped for drinks at the clubhouse. When we came back the front end of our cart had been totaled by the beverage cart. Took us a few minutes to figure out what happened and get a new cart and back out. Back went a bit faster but could use a Marshall to pick up the pace in front of us. Took over 5 hours for a Friday afternoon round. I’ll definitely come back and give it another chance but We were just disappointed with the pace of play and having our cart destroyed.

Course was in great shape with smooth fast greens. Had 2 hr frost delay but bar had free cookies to ease the disappointment.

Very nice warm up area with chipping/bunker green and putting green. Range balls included in price.

Always enjoy playing this course as the layout is challenging but fair.

We were pleasantly surprised with the conditions of this course. Loved the heavily trees layout.

Greens were I. The best shape in years always a fun experience.

I really enjoyed my round. It is such a challenging course but gives a little. Wish it had some hot deals. Will look for discounts every week so I can play it again. Course in good shape and staff was great

Great golf course, starter and staff was very friendly , pace of play was slow because of cartpath only. There was a foursome in front of us that was very slow. Plan on playing again

A friend recommended this course and unfortunately it did not live up to the hype. Course was in terrible shape considering the price. Compared to other courses priced in the same range and some even less expensive, this was not a good course. Crab grass growing all around the greens almost made them unplayable. Greens were very soft and seemed as though they had not been rolled in awhile. Spike marks and ball marks made for bumpy putting on all 18 holes. Course does not hold water well either. Had balls that plugged in the fairway. I will not play this course in the near future. Can't believe its part of the Raspberry Trail considering the other courses are not in this condition.

Played this course on a Saturday morning. I was a single and got teamed up with a threesome, who actually plays frequently. Bull Run is a great Course, we teed off at 7:21 and finished our round at 11:15. At times it felt like we were the only ones on the course but that's because of the layout. We never had to wait and we were not pushed from behind. The course itself was in great shape and it requires you to think about each shot. Greens were excellent and rolled true. I would highly recommend Bull Run to anyone, but I would also recommend getting an early tee time.

Nice course, but the pace of play is always terrible. The last time you see anyone from management is when you pay. It seems they don't believe in marshals, you can do whatever you want once you tee off

PGA member played with my son very enjoyable course. The course was in very good shape .

Great course, well maintained. We have had 8-10 inches of rain the week leading up to the round and the course was in surprisingly good shape. I have played the Bull Run a dozen times and have enjoyed every round. The course is difficult but not impossible, challenging enough to be enjoyable not frustrating!

Nice layout. Fairways and greens in excellent shape. Rained night before round, no standing water...except in traps. Some traps need to be redone. Look forward to playing in dry conditions to check green speeds.
