Great lay-out/conditions were excellent/staff friendly and very helpful

The course was in excellent condition and I played with wonderful people. Everyone on the staff was very helpful and courteous. I enjoyed the entire round.

Quite a few of my friends play here on a regular basis but this was my first chance to play here myself. I found the course to be laid out well and it was a very enjoyable round. The course was in great shape and the staff was super friendly!

Beautiful course it was hard to leave! Greens were a good speed, and the staff was very friendly. The rough is long, but if you are up for the challenge, it is a great way to catch up! (If you hit the fairways)

Course was in great shape. Esp after all the rain we've received in the his area. But once again Pace of play is an issue here at Bull Run. As we got to the 6th hole we started waiting for 3-4 minutes for ever shot, then it progressively got worse to the point where the 18th hole had a 26 minute delay for just the tee box. Bull run needs to have a Marshall out there to regulate pace of play, and/or inform groups to let single quicker players play through if there is a significant amount of doubles and singles in between a jam packed tee sheet.

it was raining, everything was soaked, however the greens were still extremley fast, rough was true rough, not patchy at all.. Course is in incredible shape, greens roll true. I like that you can see from the tee box where you need to land in the fairway. Not many blind shots.

After spending a lot of time looking for a good course to play around Washington DC, I found this course. the weather was decent, there weren't a lot of people on the course when I tee'd off.

The fairways were is extremely good shape, even with the recent rain in the area, the balls were not plugging. the rough was pretty long, so does affect your shots.

The greens were in OK shape, I guess they need time recovering from recent aeration.

Overall a great experience, played with a local gentleman who helped me navigate this course. if I am local guy living here, wouldn't hesitate to make this my home course in a heartbeat.

Course is in great condition. Greens were rolling at about 9-10.

Very friendly staff.

Fairways were neatly mowed, greens still show small holes from recent aeration. Rough tall and thick. Worth the discounted golf now rate but no way at the normal rate. They had a frost delay in the morning so my 2:06 ttime became 2:44. About 10 min wait each hole. . Done 7:40 wished i had known about recent aeration.

Greens had been aerated in past two weeks but that as to be expected.

The tees were zoysia grass and still dormant.

The rough was way to thick for a public course. Not quite long enough for the US Open. They could at least shorten it a bit around the greens to speed up play.

The fairways were excellent.

The 18th is a poorly designed par-5 for short hitters. Cannot layup to 100 yards (middle of a lake). Short hitters (I am 73 years old) who hit the ball 200 yards from the green tees must layup with a 70-yard 2nd shot and then hit their 3rd 140+ yards over the lake to the green. It's an okay challenge for long hitters as they can reach it in two from the back tees if they keep it left. I was told by a member this hole creates slow play. Those who layup must walk downhill to their shots and back as electric carts are forbidden.

Although the green fees through Tee Times were fair, they were exactly the same as green fees for seniors.

The day was chilly but not cold. The course was inviting to view; definitely in better shape than my game. I've played Bull Run many times and have never had a bad experience.

Great pace of play. Pins in some tough position today. No water available out on the course today. Only beverage lady had some.

Play this course if you ever get the chance. I would definitely go back. Absolutely beautiful. In great condition. Interesting, challenging, yet very playable layout.

It was cold, mid 30's. so it wasn't crowded. We both liked the layout. scenery, and excellent course condition. Staff was very friendly. Even though we live over an hour away, we will make the trip again.

Course was packed with players taking advantage of the nice weather. Staff seemed annoyed that so many people were there....

2nd time playing this course and love the layout. Challenging without beating you up. Greens had been aerated but stilled rolled pretty true (without that it would be 5 rating).
Pro Shop staff are very engaging and helpful.

This course is always worth the money and drive. Challenging and beautiful golf course.
