About
Named after the springs that snake through the layout, Delaware Springs Golf Course is a scenic links-style track that is one of the better values in Texas golf. The low prices and friendly service, combined with a picturesque and challenging golf course, make this a Hill Country favorite.
Architects Dave Axland and Dan Proctor built a natural-looking course that fits the terrain perfectly. The course is nestled into the rolling hills and oak trees along the Highland Lakes, playing 6,891 yards from the tips. During your round you’ll encounter lush fairways frequently loaded with bunkers, large greens that slope severely, and numerous bump and run shots. The designers added a few original touches, such as the descriptive Scottish names for each hole (the 18th is called "Hame" for the home hole).
Another interesting design twist involved placing the signature hole as the opener. Playing 504 yards to a par 5, no. 1 is best attacked with an iron into the left side of a sloping, tree-lined fairway. The creek cuts into the landing area, making it a testy tee shot. The second shot must bend around the dogleg to the left and over the creek, and the approach is into the green shaded by large trees on the right.

Play this one.
Great layout with no adjacent holes. Greens roll true and wide fairways help if you pop a slice. If you like deer you will love this course.

Great Track
It’s a little drive from Austin but the layout is great and the greens are fast but fun. The staff is friendly and it’s not $80 on the weekend.

All good with one exception
Best bang for your buck. Almost the perfect course. Only issue is that the men's restroom always smells like a truck stop toilet. Otherwise, my favorite place to play in the hill country.

Very fun course
I always enjoy playing this course. One of the best muni's I've ever played. It's about an hour and half drive for me but it's always worth it. Fairway's are in great shape and the greens roll well and fast;. I'll be back for suire..

This course is very fun!
Went out on Tuesday before Thanksgiving, and started out a little damp, but cleared up with a little North wind. Course was in great shape and we finished in 3 1/2 hours. Some greens did not emulate the practice green, as they were somewhat slower, but overall a very enjoyable day on the course for our foursome.

Course is always in great condition. Grounds crew always has course in great condition. Pro shop staff also very friendly and always pleasant to work with. Drive from Pflugerville to okay and never dissatisfied with course.

Decent Course with Slow Play
Tee'd off at 12:48 and barely finished before dark. Took 4 hours and 30 minutes to play. Had a Marshall but this did not improve the pace of play. No tournament and no excuse. Waited every shot as did the groups in front and behind.Was told that this was very common.
Fortunately the weather was nice so was able to enjoy a decent course. Course is relatively flat to easy to walk but there are some long stretches between green to tees that may make it difficult for some if you are out of shape.

Beautiful course
Beautiful course, the conditions were excellent. Not sure what happened with us today but the pace of play was terribly slow. Our tee time was delayed about 15 minutes because they had so many groups backed up. Other than a slow pace of play, this course is a great deal for what you pay for. I’ll definitely be going back.

Delaware in November
course was a bit dry but greens rolled well despite being fairly dormant, pace of play was awful, was behind a five some playing very slow who didn't let faster players through.
