About
Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia was designed by Greg Norman. It sprawls across 163 lush and secluded acres where golfers will be hard-pressed to find a home anywhere close to the course. Norman carefully utilized the natural terrain, incorporating the meandering creek on several holes and also adding a few holes that venture up the side of a hill. Thanks to the dramatic elevation changes, there are some tees where your ball seems to stay in the air forever. The first nine is more open with a traditional links-style layout that then leads to the more densely wooded back nine. In addition to the trees and other natural hazards, there is also an unusually thick first cut of rough as well as tall stands of native grasses.

Almost a great course
The course itself was well maintained and fun to play, but it was the slowest round of golf I’ve ever played. Took 5 and a half hours to play 18 holes because we had to wait forever at each and every hole. Thankfully there was lots of shade so it wasn’t miserable. The water we were served on the turn also tasted like Clorox and burned our mouths and throats… but we didn’t die. Would play again on a non-busy day and just drink my own water.

Beautiful Course
Absolutely beautiful lay out. Fairways was nice and wide(which I needed), greens was kept up with and tee boxes in great shape. Will definitely be back!

$30 would be a fairer price. Cold, flavorless tortilla for the wraps. Great to have Sonder beer. Course in outstanding shape. Good pace of play and friendly staff.

Elk’s Run
Very nice golf course. Excellent condition. Moderately challenging. Really everything you’d want in a golf course if you’re a player. Liked the elevation changes. Tee box are nice carved for and many choices. Highly recommend. I’ll be back.

Very nice golf course with some pace issues but well worth it
Out of all the cincinnati area courses, would 100% recommend this one for sure. Well maintained and gorgeous course. Pace was a little behind but wasn’t too bad.

Course is in great shape
Had a great time for a Sunday morning round. Pace was good. Great food at the turn. Greens were quick. Overall had a great time and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for an above average course.

Spring is coming in nicely!
Elk's Run is in great shape. Off season work on the bunkers by the grounds crew is evident. Fairways and greens are in really good shape overall. Pace of play was great. We love this track - it's one of our favorites in the Cincinnati area!

Not in the best shape
Still early in season but it appears they need to hire experienced groundskeeper. I would not pay full price to play
