About
Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia was designed by Greg Norman. It sprawls across 163 lush and secluded acres where golfers will be hard-pressed to find a home anywhere close to the course. Norman carefully utilized the natural terrain, incorporating the meandering creek on several holes and also adding a few holes that venture up the side of a hill. Thanks to the dramatic elevation changes, there are some tees where your ball seems to stay in the air forever. The first nine is more open with a traditional links-style layout that then leads to the more densely wooded back nine. In addition to the trees and other natural hazards, there is also an unusually thick first cut of rough as well as tall stands of native grasses.

Course is in great shape
Had a great time for a Sunday morning round. Pace was good. Great food at the turn. Greens were quick. Overall had a great time and would certainly recommend to anyone looking for an above average course.

Spring is coming in nicely!
Elk's Run is in great shape. Off season work on the bunkers by the grounds crew is evident. Fairways and greens are in really good shape overall. Pace of play was great. We love this track - it's one of our favorites in the Cincinnati area!

Not in the best shape
Still early in season but it appears they need to hire experienced groundskeeper. I would not pay full price to play

Horrible customer service
Showed up on time golfing by myself. None of the other 3 strangers showed up so I’m being told that I now have to wait 40 minutes before I can tee off. No thanks. Too many other courses around here to deal with this place.

Love this course
They were repairing some traps while we were there but everything else was in great condition. Was super happy to see they are putting money back into the course.

We'll worth the money.
I played early Thursday morning. 1st one there. 3 hour round. This will not always be the case. The morning dew was a little rough on the greens but the course is solid. Played the tips for an extra challenge. You cannot beat the cost and quality.

March Golf in Cincinnati
Elks Run is one of our favorite public courses in the Cincinnati area. Great Greg Norman design. Course difficulty varies significantly based upon the tees you choose. Course conditions were a little rough, and the greens were slow, but what can you expect in early March?
