About
Elks Run Golf Club in Batavia was designed by Greg Norman. It sprawls across 163 lush and secluded acres where golfers will be hard-pressed to find a home anywhere close to the course. Norman carefully utilized the natural terrain, incorporating the meandering creek on several holes and also adding a few holes that venture up the side of a hill. Thanks to the dramatic elevation changes, there are some tees where your ball seems to stay in the air forever. The first nine is more open with a traditional links-style layout that then leads to the more densely wooded back nine. In addition to the trees and other natural hazards, there is also an unusually thick first cut of rough as well as tall stands of native grasses.

Solid Course
Solid course, good layout. Open, not many trees, but a thick rough to offset that. I shot a personal best during a twilight round, so course is fairly forgiving.
A bit odd a few greens didn’t have a fringe/first cut.
Greens weren’t in the best shape, mainly because other golfers refused to fix divots. All in all good, biggest complaint is with those other golfers who bang up the green and leave it for the next person to deal with.
Pace of play
2 groups in front of us were extremely slow. Need more rangers to move it along

Played Elk’s Run for the first time yesterday as I am traveling from out of town. The course is in excellent shape. Definitely recommend this course.

A great course with great prices
Its my favorite course in the area i take all my friends there.
Outstanding Course
This course has always been a great place to play. Now, in addition to that, the greens are the best that I have played in greater Cincinnati.

Nothing more to say, absolutely immaculate conditions from tee to green… friendly staff, played under 4 hours on a Monday with a 11:48 tee time
Fantastic Course!
Id highly reccomend this course for anyone looking for a round of golf that is very playable and quiet away from the noise of the city. Greens are quick. Tee boxes and fairways are in great shape.

Great Day on the Course
I played with my son, and we had a great day. We played from the blue tees which helped the course to be more challenging. Traps and streams come into play. It also makes a few short par 3's play more difficult. Really enjoyed our day. Course is in great shape and the green were the best we played on this year.

Not a $71 course at this time of year
I like the course and have played it many times before. However, not a $71 course at this point in the season. Most bunkers do not have sand and there are multiple tee boxes with no grass. Greens were quick and in good shape. For the money, better courses around. Give it some time, and may be worth the price.
