Kiva Dunes Golf Course

Not for beginners, love this place and is my new favorite for this area.

I have heard a lot about the course from others who have played it and I will say It lived up to the hype. Fantastic layout and opportunity to hit some really fun shots with the wind being in play every hole. The hurricane definitely cause some damage and they lost over 200 trees. But it was still a great time.

The property had a lot of hurricane damage but the course itself was in pretty good shape considering.. Staff was great but there was no locker room with other facilities like course bathrooms were OTS., I believe the round was a little overpriced.

I did not make any putts as they where very hard to read. Be prepared to make some unusual club selections due to the amount of wind that you deal with on the scores.

We had a blast and I am looking forward to playing this track again real soon

Course has been open only two weeks because of Hurricane Sally and the grounds crew has done an amazing job getting the course in great shape. The greens are large and putt true. Pro shop and club house staff were friendly and welcoming.

1 month after Hurricane Sally the course was in perfect condition. . Significant tree damage but never affected play.

Played as a single on Sundaty afternoon. . Had multiple twosomes and threesomes let me play through. Came on a fivesome and would not allow me through. Noticed 2 other fivesomes on the course. hard to believe a course this nice allows fivesomes especially on the weekend.

Kiva Dunes is a nice course and for being in a coastal area does have too much water in play. The only negative was that the greens were so hard but the starter told us before we teed off that they were trampolines

Wonderful golf experience! Best course in the area, especially if you can get the Tee Off deal rate!! No complaints, only compliments

I love playing this golf course, the greens and fairways are always well maintained. Best of all the staff are the best, especially the starter named, Ben. He drove around checking on people plus Ben were handing out some free cold water to all golfers.

My only complain is the owner of Kiva Dunes should put a GPS on his/her golf carts, so I don't have to keep bringing my own GPS.

Every aspect of this course is top notch. The staff, the practice area, the course maintenance, the amenities, the ranger keeping pace of play...you name it. Really enjoyed my round. Beautiful course.

We were staying in Gulf Shores and chose to play Kiva Dunes while down there. We got our round in between hurricanes Marco & Laura. It was quite windy because of the hurricane, but playable. The staff was very friendly, offered some tips on approaching several tricky holes. We basically had the course to ourselves due to the weather and it being end of season. We'll be back!

Don’t let anyone disrespect this course. It was fantastic, played it a couple day after a tropical storm hit and you couldn’t even tell. Have played all over the world and Kivas in my top 5. Well worth the $75 fee. Range included and Ben is always a great help as the starter.

I already played all the golf courses in the area within 30 miles radius and I must say that this is the best golf course in the area. The greens and fairways were always well maintained.

Best of all the staff here were awesome, especially the starter named Donnie, and the bag boy named Mike. They always work hard and always smiling serving the golfers and making golfers happy and satisfied before and after leaving the golf course.

Had a memorable round with the family. Staff was very friendly.
