Kiva Dunes Golf Course

This track is always a great challenge. Wd had some weather issues with rain and wind but it drains very well, and there was no standing water anywhere. The Happy Cart remains one of the most expensive in the area as are drinks inside the bar/restaurant. I was asked if I wanted a double bloody mary when I ordered one mid morning. Wrongfully assuming there was a 'double' discount, but no...18.00! The cart girls need to know how NOT to disturb golfers when they drive around. Cheers

One of the best courses I’ve golfed. From the moment we pulled in we felt welcomed. Bag drop staff, starter, and cart girl were outstanding and great to visit with. Very helpful! Second off this morning and made it around in 2 hours and 47 minutes.

I played all the golf courses in the area being a local in Gulf Shores Alabama, and this golf course is pretty much the best golf course in the area. The staff in the pro shop is accommodating to my needs and want to do. Best of all the greens here are the best...

Pro Shop Sales! Driving range supplied Balls! And a starter who got us out ahead of outing. Course drained remarkably well consider all the rain that fell. Greens ran true, fast n smooth.

Course is in good shape. Greens are fairly large and roll true, although a bit slower than I had expected for this caliber of course. Very good fairways and I thoroughly appreciated the tee boxes were level. This course is definitely worth playing when in the area. Well maintained and manicured.

This course is very interesting and challenging with lots of places to get into trouble! It’s a great layout and this time of year, the pace of play was awesome. We finished in three hours.

We Have been coming to Panhandle for over 12 years and we finally played Kiva why did we wait so long?? It's a great course with good challenging holes ,fairways are top notch and greens were quick except for a couple . The overall look of the course is almost impeccable greens staff do a fabulous job of making the course look it's best, hats off to them.

The front 9 played in 1 hour 40 minutes , we bottled up in the back at 2 hours 25 minutes over all not bad if its not busy probably can be played in 3.5 hours easily. Loved the staff and we will be playing this in the following years every winter it will be a regular...for us SnowBirds!

The course has beautiful greens and fairways. It takes on rain really well, due to exceptional drainage and the staff is very helpful and friendly.

It's January and the greens are "awesome' as usual. They now have a brand new golf carts, but I wish that they also install a GPS, so I don't have to bring mine all the time when I play golf here. Overall everything is wonderful, such as excellent customer service, well maintained fairways and greens, and perfect pace of play. Highly recommended to any level of golfers...

I just love this golf course.

I could not get enough of this golf course, although I played it so many times. It is worth the drive even if it's more than 3 hours drive. Locals are so lucky to have this golf course in the area. Staff are always awesome every time I come play golf here...

Course was in excellent condition. It was a little cold but the sun was out and playing conditions still very good. I needed to club up into the wind and of course I had to make the adjustments when I had the wind. Water and sand is in play a lot to make it challenging. I really enjoyed this course.

Kiva Dunes is a great golf course. It isn’t inexpensive but, you get what you pay for. The staff was friendly and helpful. The course itself is just the right amount of difficult to keep your attention. There were very few blind tee shots, it was all there right in front of you. The course conditions were immaculate. The greens were fast and rolled true. Good puts were rewarded. The course lays out East and West and the wind direction and speed come into play on every hole. If you like a well conditioned course that keeps you engaged on every hole, you will be rewarded here.

If you're in Gulf Shores, AL this is a must play course. The conditions, the layout, and the staff were top notch. This is on our repeat play list.

I got a great rate on this Tuesday in late November when daylight is at a premium.around noon. The course warns that the golfer might be placed 15-20 minutes before the scheduled tee time. In my case it was a full 45 minutes early meaning I only got to hit a few practice putts. Combined with a little over 3 hour round meant I was off the course 2 hours earlier than expected. Parking and check in were extremely quick and efficient, service was friendly and very good. The greens were very fast and in excellent shape. Fairways and rough played fast and firm. We played the white tees as the starter strongly recommended a 7 handicap for the blues. From there the course is very fair and in front of you, very few blind shots. On this day the Blue Angels were in town performing a show above us, very memorable. The off course amenities should be rated N/A as I didn't participate in any.
