Kiva Dunes Golf Course

The only thing I can say is greens were a bit sandy, but really didn't seem to affect ball roll. They were smooth for sure.and quick.

Really enjoy course always look forward to playing when I can.

An absolutely beautiful golf course with great amenities. The natural beauty of the Gulf and Mobile Bay combined with an awesome setting make this a really great experience. The course is very well maintained and has interesting holes, no two are alike. One of my favorites.

Kiva Dunes is one of the best public courses in the entire Southeast. Greens were very well maintained and rolled true, very large landing areas and tricky undulated greens with lots of break if ball is not in ideal landing area based on pin placement. The course design is not difficult to manage for a first time player and practice facilities are top notch. Will return again next time in Gulf Shores.

I played Kiva Dunes for the second time with a good friend. The course was in great shape and I cannot say enough positive about the staff interaction. My only negative is the price, and I have to look inward on that. We payed ~ $95; if we payed $70, I’d feel a whole lot better. The normal rate is $140/ round. I simply cannot justify that even for a resort course. I must say late in April and early May the conditions are dang near perfect! The course is challenging yet not too hard for a mid to high handicapper. Is it worth it for a typical Tuesday, probably not. Is it worth it for a vacation; absolutely!

The course was in great shape and is a great design. Fairly short but each hole is unique and requires thought on each shot. Rolling fairways and hard, fast greens

Great course, I played rather badly the first time, so I came back a few days later to try again! Well designed and in a great location sandwiched between the gulf and the bay. Good practice area and clubhouse. The course is completely self contained, with no houses in play. Greens, sand, and fairways all in very nice shape. Rough mowed to very friendly height. natural vegetation and sandy areas around and between most holes was pretty, but not very friendly if your ball goes into it! Much more fun if you keep it in the fairway. Big greens with lots of undulation, so putting was not easy. Wind always a factor here. Saw a few small gators, a lot of different birds, and even a dead snake on the cart path.

Course was in amazing shape. Beautiful course & extremely well run. From check to dinneŕ after CLASS A!!! We will be back.

I’ll never not play here when we visit. Super fun course.

I’m here again today, love how true and smooth the greens are, if you can’t hit your target you can really score here. Love it
