Disappointing golf
Driven by many times and paid $61 to play the championship course. Starter tells me I'm in the 3rd group of the tee so I go to the car for a minute and come back... No other 4somes anywhere around and ask why a twosome went if in front of my and the other 4some was supposed to wait for...”oh,I didn't see them, they got off already"... What? That twosome hit multiple balls and hacked so bad we were waiting until we made then let us go through on 10. The first tee was chewed up and they didn't get much better. The fairways and surrounding areas were spotty but ok. The greens were horrible! Different kinds of grass in clumps so one grows longer so your ball bounces and hops all over. Anything over 2' and it's gonna probably bounce out of line. Simply put I wouldn't pay more than $25 with a cart on their best 18. Other than a few holes it's flat and boring. A few bright spots on holes #3 & #18 though. As in the veritable WIND TUNNEL you get to play in on a "not that bad" day from the others in my group. SAVE YOUR MONEY and play around the corner at Cimmeron. 10 times better, easily!
Good course, lots of squirrels
Good course, in decent shape. There are lots of squirrels though and they can be a little bit of a pain
Greens
Greens could have been kept up a little better...too many divets.
Great day of golf
Just an all around good day . Course was great, little breezy but sunny, staff was very friendly . Can’t wait to play there again. Soon
excellent play to play
Course was full...saw a lot of foursomes...but did not affect the pace of play...moved along well..cou=rse in excellent shape......practice facility open..very much appreciated.
Good course to play
The course had some narrow fairways -but nothing looked too tough other than the 17th hole (where you need pretty decent control to land and stay on the island). Wind was a factor on the day i played as it was howling at 20 mph consistently. Since this was the first time I played this course -it took a while to settle. Having some knowledge of the holes would have helped me to do better than what i did as I landed on places that I shouldnt have despite hitting the ball well.
Flat and monotonous
This course was a vast disappointment. I know it’s a Nicklaus design, but Jack must have been in a hurry. Every hole is flat and unimaginative. The course layout is convoluted. There are no memorable holes. It’s as if someone said “let’s just put 18 holes on this flat piece of land”. Thank God I paid the twilight rate. If I had paid full retail for this course I would have been furious. Go up the road and play Cinnabar Hills. Now there is a course with a terrific layout.
Great course with affordable deal price. Excellent !!
Always Good Condition
I always like to play at Coyote Creek.
Today was another perfect day to play golf with xlnt condition.
Staff was friendly also.
I will play again.
Tournament Course
I was intimidated playing the tournament course until I finally chanced it. I have now played it 3 times and love it.
SANDED GREENS
normally great course but greens were sanded and pro shop staff didn't say anything when checking in. made putting difficult
We were not informed the greens had been sanded till we got there. They did however knock $20 off the fee. The snack is manned by a person who does seem to want to be there or provide service
a good play
I really like this course and facility, everything here is first class, from the driving range to the clubhouse to the fairways to greens, and also the sand traps. If you want to challenge your game it also has every bit of that.
