Ready for aeration
I love this course, but it is in bad need of variation of the greens for the Valley course. I understand that they are starting this the third week of August. The pace of play was horrible because of some inconsiderate golfers that thought they were qualifying for the U.S. Open. They had two full holes open in front of them because they were so slow and unfortunately there wasn’t a marshal around to speed up play.
Back to Riverside?
Seems like coyote Creek Valley course has reverted to Riverside – like conditions. Fairways were thatched and dry and patchy., Sand traps were crusty and inconsistent. Definitely not worth $90 to play during the week.
Ok course not worth what they charge
The course is just OK at most. Very basic not thrills. Conditions were ok. People are not fixing divots on the greens. I can’t believe people pay over $100 to play in the weekends. Pace of play sucks if you’re not the first tee time.
Fast greens and windy.
Very nice course which would be pretty easy except for the greens, which were very fast and quite difficult for me. Wind gusts to 20 mph also added to the difficulty.
Still a very enjoyable outing.
Big fairways offer room to stretch out
Had an enjoyable day of 18 holes at Coyote Creek Valley Course. Most of the course was in good condition, with some tee boxes in excellent condition. The fairways are long and straight and allow you to really stretch out and use your big clubs repeatedly (you'll get plenty of exercise). However, the holes are placed too close together (hardly any rough between them). Frequently, you find balls from the holes next to you on your fairway, then someone appears to hit it back. Also, many of the sand traps had standing water in the depressions, which make for a messy exit. Anyway, I appreciated the many water stations and bathrooms along the course. Overall the course is easy and should be fun for everyone.
Very disappointing
The Valley course was very disappointing. The course layout is very confusing. No water in the ball washers. The group in front of us had absolutely zero golf etiquette. Left rake in the sand trap. Did not play ready golf. It was an all around disappointing experience. The guys in the pro shop were friendly. "Play Ready Golf" signs should be posted on the course. Water jugs should be full of ice water. I expected more from this place.
Terrific Day
We had a fabulous day on the golf course yesterday. The Valley course greens were terrific and the fairways were better than I expected with the amount of play that it gets. Alan and Tim in the pro shop are some of the friendliest staff members I’ve come across. I can’t wait to get back and play again.
Slow pace of play and No Marshall
5.25 hrs for a holiday round.....hmmm ur probably thinking its ok for a holiday round but if u know riverside aka CC valley course, then u know u can see all the groups in front of u. We waited at every hole but so did the group in front, it was the group in front of them that was 2 holes behind!! They have GPS on the carts, so the pro shop knows but no action. so frustrating. We didn't see the bev cart either..SMH
Nuce course
We played the valley course and it was beautiful. The fairways and greens are generous and even made my ‘hack’ level golf game look better then it is.
Will for sure be back.
