Coyote Creek Golf Club - The Tournament Course

Not a terrible place to spend the afternoon but bring snacks. Pace of play will usually be 5 hours on the weekends but the conditions of fairways and tee boxes make it worth while. Still a long day, play the appropriate tee boxes.

was paired up with someone who appeared to be mentally unstable. Wad nervous and felt unsafe for the whole round except for first two holes when i had not realized it. later the staff said the guy was violent and police was once called in. fortunately it was not the case that day.

The course was in great shape. Greens were a little slow and inconsistent hole to hole but for early Jan and after so much rain I was impressed with the conditions. Bunkers were also hit or miss. Some were like concrete. But if you’re looking for good value and a real challenge, this is a great option

The course is good condition and the course design is interesting.

Starting with instructions to bring your own filled water bottle, none on course, Not Covid, c’mon. Carts disable if you cross the path. Staff is super not friendly. And course set up doesn’t allow even very good golfers 10 hdcp play well or enjoy. I’d play Cinnabar anytime sorry.

Excellent course and facilities. It was my first time on the Tournament course so scoring was a little rough. The wind was up making the course even more challenging than you would expect on a cool sunny day. The tees boxes, fairways, and greens were all in good shape. I thought the greens were a little slow for my taste, but they still presented a challenge due to the undulations making them a little difficult to read since it was my first time on this tract.. Overall, I would rate this course 5 star and definitely return when in the area.

Play was suspended due to Hail. The Management team provided rain checks to all players. Nice Job!

Love playing Nicklaus courses. This place is awesome. The 7 holes on the other side of the freeway may give you vertigo, so be careful. The course has character, design, risk/reward, treachery and simplicity.

One of the best tracks I’ve ever played.

If wind is up, play safe. If it’s a nice day you can score, but it will take more than your low handicap.

Thrilling course all in all. Loved every minute of it.

I have played this course many times and still have the same opinion, it plays tough because of so many deep bunkers and a few quirky holes. hitting a good drive from the Senior tees and still forced to lay up leaving nearly 200 to the hole is at best a poor design, challenging course, never score well there.

Course was in great shape, pace of play was not an issue as we played when it rained. Greens in excellent shape. Full practice facility. Fun and challenging

I generally enjoyed my round here and the course is very challenging and a good test for seasoned golfers. But the staff and course management was terrible. They let a “platinum member” jump into a 4 some and make a 5 some . This significantly slowed down the pace. Was also disappointed by the staff. The whole vibe was very un charming and just generally not peaceful like a golf course should be. I would NOT waste my time here personally
