Golfer Reviews
Quite a Different Layout from Most of the Courses in the Area
This course has an older-school feel to it, but everything here is in good shape. The bag drop is tucked in a short lane of the parking lot, but the staff was quick to help load and point us to the ProShop. Check-in was quick, and we had a nice conversation with the manager. There is a full driving range, and golf balls are included in the fee. There was not a starter during the week, but the bag team got us on the course a bit ahead of our tee time. The layout of this course was different than most - there were some doglegs, water features and target shots, so it was different than most of the straight-away, narrow courses found in the PSP/PD area. As such, it was a fun challenge to play a fade or draw to follow the fairway instead of just trying to crack a straightaway shot. Conditions were very good, and the greens were faster than the already fast average in the area. We found the breaks and grain to be difficult to read, but the greens rolled true. The bunkers were probably the only part of the course that had some room for improvement, but they were still quite playable. Overall and enjoyable round despite some frustrations of trying to sink those putts!
No better value than this golf course
Surprised how inexpensive this golf course is. Course is fun to play, pace of play good. There are many more expensive golf courses in Palm Desert area, but you won't beat the value received at this one.
Great greens
Fun layout in great shape with fast good condition greens. Very enjoyable
Again, this is the desert and more water would be very helpful
A perfect day for golf
the course conditions were very good, the temperature was perfect and the pace was good....although we had to wait sometimes, things kept moving along.
A beautiful day at the Resorter
It was the first time in a while I was able to play golf with my two sons. The weather was perfect, clear skies, temperature about 70 F. The course was in good shape and we got the round finished in under 4 hours.
Great Course for 20+ Hcp'er, Fantastic Condition
Loved this course. I'm a 23 handicap and not looking to get too chewed up by a course, especially on vacation. The holes are fair, with some more challenging than others and all in great shape. There are carry holes, target holes, driving holes and sand but all are reasonable. Low handicappers might find it not challenging but I've never known what that feels like so maybe not! Facilities and carts seem a tad dated but the course is great so who cares? And considering how much you'd pay at other courses in the area, PDR is a great value. Thumbs up!
Nice playable course
Course was in very good condition and not too busy. Pace of play was excellent and staff were friendly. Cost was very reasonable.
Gem in the desert….
Great course for the price point.
No gimme holes.
A couple forced carries to challenge yourself.
Turf was excellent.
Greens rolling true.
Can’t go back.
Course has more variety than a lot of desert course.
11:10 tee time and had no delays on the course. Staff are friendly and helpful. I like the terrain of the course with some hills which make a welcome change from the usual flat desert courses.
Great course with amazing staff
This course is straightforward and can be played fast. Some really great holes specifically number 10 is my favorite. The staff is always extremely friendly specifically Connor and Rick who I always see there. This place doesn’t destroy you on the price either like some of the other courses around here. Definitely recommend coming here
Only played 9 holes/
Since I paid for 18 for 2 golfers and had to stop at 9 because my playing partner could not finish.
How do I get the credit for the other 9 holes? Tried to find a phone number but no luck. Thanks for your help.
Great Experience
The course was in great condition. The staff was very welcoming and helpful. The pace of play was amazing (3.5 hours). I shot 42-42-84 from the tips (only 6500).
On most courses if you pay for 18 there is no refund if you play less holes.
