Palm Desert Country Club

Played as a twosome and pace was excellent at 3 hours. Seemed overpriced for overall conditions and some really ratty housing around the course. No amenities to speak of and no reason to stay afterwards. Limited staff contact was friendly enough.

Great track with challenging sand traps around most greens!

Greens very nice. Course layout is unique winding through houses and crossing streets but manageable. People friendly. We played first group in morning. 3.5 hours. Chilly but fun.

We enjoyed playing the course would probably play it again. My biggest complaint was the bunkers are lacking sand, mostly just tight sand /dirt mix.

The course was in decent shape and the greens were pretty good but definitely not great. Pace of play was good and the layout was pretty straight forward. Still, fun to play, and not overly difficult. Good place for the average player to make some shots and score well if you kept the ball in play. Overall, good fun, and a decent course. Would recommend to anyone, but would recommend golf now.com to get a better deal. Most courses are overpriced, especially this time of year.

Came cross country to see son and play a round of golf. Forgot my khakis but was told that would be ok. Loved this.

I was joined by two other gents and we had a great time/chat. The course is fair and well worth the value…forgiving fairways, very good greens that rolled true and offered appropriate tee boxes for our various abilities.

The palm desert country club course is an excellent course that I would highly recommend. All of my shots were accessible via cart or walking and although the putting is a little difficult, it’s a nice course and I would be glad to play it again. There were absolutely no issues with the course, I was thirsty and someone came by with the cart and several times during my round I approached in regulation, and had a put for par or birdie although I wasn’t able to finish it most times I did end up with one par during this round. I did lose one ball I believe just a little out of reach in someone’s backyard. I would highly recommend this course and look forward to getting down there again I even looked at some of the homes for sale on this course.

They have 3, 9 hole courses. The Royals condition is as you would expect any golf course. Good and plays well. The Mountain course greens didn't have any grass (or very little) still suffering from a die-off a few years ago (I believe). Did not play the Indian (over seeding)

Can be a challenging course as several narrow fairways. Not a big slicer or hook course. Good course for the $.

overall course is in great shape. Interesting layout with a lot of strategically placed bunkers. Bunkers are a little firm and could use more sand but at least they are consistent. Great value if you can get a hot deal.

Chilly morning and we had a frost delay. The staff told us all about it and we ended up teeing off about 30 minutes after our booking slot. Course was green and lush. Fairways were in very good condition and greens were as well. Little slow on front nine and picked up some speed as they got more sun in the later morning.

Generous fairways allowed for most golfers to stay in the short grass for their second shot. Water hazards, sand traps and dog leg layouts along with long distances from the blue tees made this course a good challenge for most golfers. Reasonable greens fees and accessible tee times allow visitors to get a tee time at convenient times. Sand traps needed more sand and maintenance—-inconsistent depth of sand and hardened conditions. Greens were approachable and receptive and putted true.
