Palm Desert Country Club

What set this course out from others was the dinner and music after our round. Excellent food and drinks listening to a live band. The golf course is in good shape and the staff is excellent.

No driving range and all the sand traps were awful. On the other hand the greens were perfect.

Good course for the middle handicapper. Swing net available to warm up. Chipping and putting areas were nice. Greens fast and green, good hold. Fairways were wide. Only thing i did not like, the bunkers were too hard. Difficult flushing ball out. We will be back. Good value.

Not gonna lie. I don't mind a local muni. Nothing wrong with playing non-resort courses.

You just gotta know what you're getting into. I was pretty embarrassed bringing guys from OOT here. Shoulda done my homework. Relying on course pics on GolfNow and local website not good enough. This place was rough....Just know what you're getting into.

The Palm Desert address and proximity to Indian Wells does not do it justice. This is a rough local track weaving in and out of rough housing. Nothing wrong with any of it, but it's just not easy on the eyes. There needs to be some sort of disclaimer without offending.

Arrived without my golf shoes.. Alerted the staff who were extremely understanding and accommodating. Quick trip back home and upon my return, straight to the t box to join a friendly couple who were regulars at the course .

Enjoyed the fast greens and overall course conditions ( bunkers could use a bit of TLC)

The course was in good shape. The greens were fast and true! If you get far into the rough the course grass gets sparse. The tee boxes were decent but I can't say enough about the condition of the greens! Great shape, true, and fast. I will play here again.

Not a real long course from the whites but thats ok. It was still challenging.

The courses fairly simple except for the cart path going on and off the city street which I think is dangerous. The fairways were OK however, the rough was ragged and the traps were hard packed! We were new to the course and didn’t know all the routes so it was a bit challenging. And the locals who played frequently like to get done I think in three hours rather than four so, there was some pushing going on. We chose to have lunch in the restaurant and sat outside. Only we were not able to speak because the grounds crew was blowing and mowing and the gas fumes were not very appetizing. A map of the course for first time, users might be helpful. The staff was limited but was very friendly!
