Palm Desert Country Club

The course was in good shape. The greens were fast and true! If you get far into the rough the course grass gets sparse. The tee boxes were decent but I can't say enough about the condition of the greens! Great shape, true, and fast. I will play here again.

Not a real long course from the whites but thats ok. It was still challenging.

The courses fairly simple except for the cart path going on and off the city street which I think is dangerous. The fairways were OK however, the rough was ragged and the traps were hard packed! We were new to the course and didn’t know all the routes so it was a bit challenging. And the locals who played frequently like to get done I think in three hours rather than four so, there was some pushing going on. We chose to have lunch in the restaurant and sat outside. Only we were not able to speak because the grounds crew was blowing and mowing and the gas fumes were not very appetizing. A map of the course for first time, users might be helpful. The staff was limited but was very friendly!

My husband and I had not golfed this course before. We were pleasantly surprised, since we had mixed reviews from friends.

The greens were in perfect condition and the golf round was about four hours.

The only negative is there is no driving range, and we couldnt find anyone at the turn to sell us some drinks and snacks at the turn.

We would golf here again.

Staff was not friendly. would have helped to have a course map. First tee is a block away from the club house, cart paths are not well marked. Fire ants on the course got my feet on the first hole. Golfed with lovely couple from Canada.

As previously mentioned, these greens are lush and true. Overall layout fits our game, fairways are nice to hit off. It was highlighted to us that they are waiting on a supply of sand for the traps, so they can all be upgraded, however they are still playable. The staff will do everything they can to make your stay and round memorable.

No driving range so you need to use this course to work on your playing skills. The greens were firm and reasonably fast and in good condition.

This course had some of the nicest greens I’ve ever played. Not a divot to be found. True roll of the ball. Fairways were also beautiful. Great clean ball striking.

The downside was the location. The course wanders in and around a rather sad looking neighborhood. No ambiance at all.

My husband and I enjoyed this course. The employees were terrific, and the Club carts clean. No driving range, which we were not pleased about, but a nice putting and chipping area.

The greens on this course are terrific. Truly green and mowed perfectly. The fairways were a little rough, with a lot of uneven areas. The roughs were quite long. many of the sand traps were hard, packed sand…but then, we shouldn’t have Ben in them. Ha

Overall, we we would golf there again. Four stars.

Friendly staff, not to bad of conditions, some bunkers were hard and sand less while others were fine. The greens were in good shape and the fairways were also in good repair. As almost every hole was protected by bunkers the sand conditions did factor in your play.
