Smokers on the none smoking patio.
Don’t get me wrong, there were three of us. We loved the course, the bartender made us great drinks. The course was wonderful and in great shape. BUT, we stoped after for apps and a drink on the deck. A no smoking deck with signs saying so. 4 locals sitting there smoking and also cigars. We tried to say it was no smoking even asking the server. They even asked the server if they could smoke. What can a server say. The smoke all blew toward us. Even another couple came to sit down and went straight inside. Upon leaving we berated and called names. Not very nice. These guys are locals and say they are there often. I hope this is mentioned to the managers of the club, because that was so wrong... please pass this on.

Best greens in the desert!
May not be the most spectacular course in the area, but the course was better maintained than the big name courses.

Pleasant course
Palm Desert CC is a very pleasant track. Conditions off the fairway were often rough but still playable. Greens putted true. Distance markers were only at 150 yds but did not really need more. Staff was very friendly. Al in all a pleasant round and nice mountain views.

Nice shape
The course is in nice shape, its been open from over seeding for about a week. Wide and forgiving fairways, greens were slow but expect giving they just reopened. Priced a little high for this time of year but there are not many courses opened yet.

Terrible! Save your $$$
This is by far the worst course I've ever played. I should have included pictures of hte greens that were missing large sections of the green.
Golf Now needs to do a better job of calling out courses that are in this much disrepair. T boxes not mowed, greens awful, tree debris all over the course.
(check out the amazing sand traps pictured)
Nice Track is Palm Desert
Nice older style course in Palm Desert. Holes 9 and 18 are pretty. Course is in good shape. Not terribly long, and driving areas are generous, so easy to score low!

Just Reseeded.
Today is the first day of the season at Palm Desert country club and everything is lush and green. The fairways were forgiving and the rough was tight. However, the greens were slow and need to be mowed.

Wait a bit
They are scalping the fairways before closing until mid October. Wait till it opens again. It’s a fun course when I’ve played it before— it just needs green grass.

Labor Day Golf
Review is somewhat unfair because Palm Desert Golf is off season.. In season ratings could be entirely different about course conditions, pace of play and amenities.
