Blue/Red at Myakka Pines Golf Club

The coarse looked to be in not so good shape. greens looked a little burnt, around the greens was so dry it was like hard-pan. What really disappointments me about this course is they had zero water on the course and not cart girl. That's horrible management. The course could be a gem under better management in my opinion.

First time at Myakka Pines, but I received a warm welcome & enjoyed my day. The course was not in A1 condition but it was a fair test. Unfortunately pace of play was slow but that seems like par for the course in Florida. Not a lot of etiquette to be seen around these parts

I have lived in Florida for around 13 years. This is by far the worst golf experience I have ever had here. The course is in terrible shape. Tee boxes are rough. Barely any grass on the fairways at all. Greens were hard and not holding. And the course conditions were better than the staff we encountered. We teed off and played blue course to the red course. When making the turn a starter chased us down and sternly asked us who told us to come there. We explained we were told by our he club house. He argued with us , even after we told him we were playing our back nine. Very rude. When my father was shaking his head in disbelief of our treatment, he literally said “Don’t shake your head at me!” I could not believe this was actually happening. At the end of the round I pulled the cart up near the bag drop only to be yelled at that carts go on the other side of the lot. I tried to explain I was just dropping off clubs and was screamed at by another employee I planned on moving the cart to return area. At this point we just loaded our cars to leave. He again screamed at us say “next time you pull over there”! I replied that I can promise there will never be a next time.

You should be ashamed charging 100.00 a round for this course in the conditions that it is. Then to have these rude people representing you makes it even worse. If I could give 0 stars, it would be more fitting!

Grass was not in great shape - lots of bare patches in the rough and fairways. Looks like the course is a bit dry. Not as nice a course as some others that I've paid similar prices.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The driving range is included with the green fees. The course was in great shape and the greens were in perfect condition, and on the fast side. This is one of the best deals in the area!

Range balls were provided. No food. Candy bars and cookies. Greens were the fastest I’ve ever played. Waited on every shot.

Could not find anything to fault here, greens were excellent, fairways in good shape, could not be better in mid March.

The course is okay. The layout is good. Traps were well maintained. The greens were hard and fast. Probably need aerating and more watering.

I played this course many years ago and was surprised it had deteriorated so badly
