Good short course
If you are looking to practice your irons,you’ve found the right place.The greens are in great shape and put at medium speed. I always enjoy a round at this course.
Not Much
Village Green was disappointing -- the tee boxes were in terrible shape, not a flat lie anywhere - and the fareways weren't much better.
The greens however were in great condition.
Just not a lot of fun - they would be better to squeeze the 18 holes into a respectable 9.
Decent
Have played course multiple times. Set up allows me to use a variety of irons.
Slopes on green can make for some challenging putts and approach shots.
Some tee boxes are not in good shape, mostly sand.
Overall a decent executive course.
Village Green Golf Sarasota Great Practice
Ideal to practice short game. Tee boxes a little rough but I didn’t use tees anyway. Fairways in decent condition for January and greens rolled true, perhaps a little slower than a regulation course with a $75 greens fee. We didn’t use any off course amenities. The cart was included otherwise walking is easy on this course.
Convenient Par 3 Course
As novice golfers we enjoy golfing Village Greens executive course. It’s a good value. The course isn’t in real good shape and even in a slight state of disrepair. That said, we will continue to play there.
Friendly staff, yet poor conditions, and 7 par three's on front 9
Nice staff, cold refreshments, but a course that has seen better times. Carts are relatively new and in great shape, but layout of course is right up agains older homes and apartments and despite fast pace and a great place to practice your pitching and sand wedge, it simply looks and feels tired. Wish the owners the best as the staff is terrific and the location is close to downtown and Tamiami Trail.
Poor condition
The course was not in good condition,the greens were very bumpy. I’ve played 4 courses in the pass 10 days and this was not in good condition

Nice course to work on short game or for individuals learning the game. Staff were very nice
