First timers..... Beware
I can’t express the title enough. If you don’t know where to hit, it’s gonna be tough. That is in no way a knock on the course. The conditions, especially for 105°+ were perfect. Only saw one green with any damage due to the heat. While it’s not the longest course, you will find yourself with plenty of long shots. Tee off early, as the wind will wreck havoc on your score. The wife and I got paired up with a father son duo who have played here numerous times. That helped tremendously. I 100% will be back again now that I know the layout.
Great Course
What a great Course. The layout is outstanding and the course was in nice shape. Would definitely play it again if I am in the area.
Amazing course
We absolutely loved this challenging beauty. We were paired with another twosome and had a wonderful time. First timers but we will be back
Falcon Ridge
Stunning views, very well maintained, challenging and fun, as well as a great friendly staff!
bad back nine
Absolutely hated the back nine with four very questionable holes in a row (to put it nicely). Maybe those weren't the worst holes I've ever played in 40 years but they surely don't belong on a resort course for starters. The course conditions were fine, the pace of play...it's a fine line. A foursome in front of our two groups had the entire course open in front of them but they had us stacked up behind them. They were on acceptable pace by course standards but in the afternoon when sunlight was tight, we finished as the sun was going down when we could have easily been done a minimum of half hour sooner. On course staff was no help. Offered opportunity to skip a hole as opposed to letting us play through.
HELPED BUILD THE COURSE
This course was originally designed by the same person responsible for Wolf Creek. It sat for years before it was finally built. All of the fairways were sodded, semi after semi loaded with giant rolls of sod. I worked for the parent company Legacy Construction and helped pour all of the cart paths and most of the clubhouse and landings. Shortly after opening some one tore up green #6 with a vehicle and was repaired. Hayden Fry long time coach of the Iowa Hawkeyes live just above #9. Very enjoyable routing but hold on tight when you get to the back-9 . Must play if visiting Mesquite for golf.
Beautiful layout, awesome greens, layout of course is breathtaking
Must Play, no open driving range, warmup area is a net enclosure.
Falcon Ridge.
Excellent course! Very nice layout. Exceptionally fast greens. Lots of elevation changes.. Play it!
If you use golfnow be sure to ask for your meal ticket. The girl at the pro shop didn’t offer it and when I went in for lunch and found out about it, I was told only the pro shop had the tickets and they had just closed. SORRY. Make sure you ask. Otherwise a great experience.
great away from Vegas course
Beautiful course love the challenge holes is worth the drive from Vegas thinking about organizing tournament whit all my golf body’s
Very nice course
We enjoyed our round and would play there again. The fact that they have no chipping area and the range is a net is amazing but they are landlocked so I guess they offer what they can. We tried the net to warm up but it was dirty, worn and crappy. Practice putting greens were OK.
Great Course and Staff
Enjoyed this awesome course with views.
Unfortunately the back 9 killed us on time.
Played 1hr 50 min on front but with a backup, 3 hrs on the back 9!
SPECTACULAR
Great course great views brilliant greens half the price of wolf creek food and drink great staff will return
Beautiful Golf Course
Had a great time at Falcon Ridge. It is a unique course similar to Wolf Creek minus all the well deserved accolades. The tees and fairways are really good. The greens look good but were a little bumps with lots of different shades of green. You wont be disappointed playing this beauty, overall a great experience.
Good value
My wife and I booked the course off of Golf Now and paid between 40 and 50 dollars. There weren't many people on the course so pace of play was fantastic. The weather in late June is always hot so that was to be expected. Overall this was a very enjoyable round of golf @ a good price.
Eye opener
Course has fantastic scenic views from most of the tee boxes. I has very tough layout. Quite a few water shots. There are numerous holes that you have to hit blindly around the corner to be lined up for the green. The back nine is a lot harder than the front. Very Challenging !
No Whiners Tournament - Falcon Ridge
Playing in the No Whiners Golf Tournament, we started on hole 14. What can I say; Falcon Ridge GC is a fantastic course. the course is well maintained, with rough areas clean and neat. It is high desert so expect some heat in the summer. The elevation of Mesquite NV is about 1600 feet, but some tee locations take you to about 2k. The staff was friendly. There are a few holes with water, which makes the course much more pleasant to play. It does lack a range, so come already warmed up. If you are ok with swinging into nets, go for it.
Overall, I was very pleased with the experience and am looking forward to my next round at Falcon Ridge GC in Mesquite NV.

Great and challenging course
I love the front 9, back 9 is also great, but much more challenging for me. Course was in great shape. I love the elevated tee boxes, water features, and beautiful scenery.
