About
Faldo Championship Course at the Wildfire Golf Club measures as long as 6,846 yards, depending on which tees you're shooting from, and lies on 174 acres and features some differences from the average desert-themed golf courses. Faldo offers abundant fairways, big bentgrass greens and tee boxes, as well as the golf course's neighboring mountains, century-old saguaro cacti and 106 sand bunkers - which remind golfers of Aussie sand-belt golf courses, which gives it a magnificent locale for golfers.
Wildfire Golf Club is much-feted: When the Faldo Championship Course opened, the Arizona Republic selected hole No. 2 among the valley's 18 best. The golf course received recognition among the 2006 Travel & Leisure Golf's "World's Best Golf Resorts" for family getaways and in the 2006 Conde Nast Traveler rundown of the "Top 100 Golf Resorts in North America." These are in addition to the Gold Tee Award from Meetings & Conventions Magazine.

Always a great round
Love this course. Staff is awesome, helpful and friendly. Course looks great, especially considering over seed is almost here.
Great Day at Wildfire
Wonderful layout, pace of play excellent. Definitely would play here again
Hot and Fast
Started at 1:00 by myself. No one around, didn't wait or have anyone wait for me. Played in about 2:45 taking my time. 104 degrees virtually no wind so it was HOT. Love the FAST carts and that you can drive virtually anywhere. GPS doesn't shut off the cart and make you back out. Makes for a pleasurable quick round. Water throughout the course. Fairways in excellent condition and greens were pretty fast considering the hot weather they were mowed fairly tight. Staff was helpful.
Not sure what going on just yet but it almost looks like they are starting to make you pay for parking? New gates installed that weren't working yet.
Outstanding Course
Literally one of my favorites to play. Greens were exceptional and the course was in outstanding shape. Looking forward to my next round there.
Beautiful Course
The Faldo course is in great shape, both fairways and greens. Pace of play was good and the staff was exceptional.
Well taken care of
Course was in beautiful shape. Beverage cart came by often and ice towels were provided. Shot a sloppy 89 but had a great time. Would definitely come come back

The only knock was the hard sand in the bunkers.. this could be deliberate
Phenomenal
First time playing it. Very open and forgiving course considering it’s a Desert course. Green fairways and very well kept greens. Can’t go wrong. Great practice area as well
Excellent condition
The course was in excellent condition tee to green. Good practice facilities and friendly staff. Remember to get your parking ticket validated, I forgot. Generous fairways. Give it a play and you will be happy you did.
Great Course!
Course condition was outstanding!! Faldo likes bunkers so be prepared for a lot of sand. Tees, fairways and greens were in great shape. $49 was a steal for this course. Outside services gets 6 stars. Down sides no place to eat or drink after the round.
Excellent golf experience
The course is in excellent condition , the fairways and greens are in great shape . The course is not as tight and long as I am used to playing , but it is still a good challenge. I would recommend this course .

An absolute fabulous track. Beautiful surroundings- lush fairways- great greens and a 100% professional staff. Loved it!
