About
Faldo Championship Course at the Wildfire Golf Club measures as long as 6,846 yards, depending on which tees you're shooting from, and lies on 174 acres and features some differences from the average desert-themed golf courses. Faldo offers abundant fairways, big bentgrass greens and tee boxes, as well as the golf course's neighboring mountains, century-old saguaro cacti and 106 sand bunkers - which remind golfers of Aussie sand-belt golf courses, which gives it a magnificent locale for golfers.
Wildfire Golf Club is much-feted: When the Faldo Championship Course opened, the Arizona Republic selected hole No. 2 among the valley's 18 best. The golf course received recognition among the 2006 Travel & Leisure Golf's "World's Best Golf Resorts" for family getaways and in the 2006 Conde Nast Traveler rundown of the "Top 100 Golf Resorts in North America." These are in addition to the Gold Tee Award from Meetings & Conventions Magazine.

Phenomenal
First time playing it. Very open and forgiving course considering it’s a Desert course. Green fairways and very well kept greens. Can’t go wrong. Great practice area as well
Excellent condition
The course was in excellent condition tee to green. Good practice facilities and friendly staff. Remember to get your parking ticket validated, I forgot. Generous fairways. Give it a play and you will be happy you did.
Great Course!
Course condition was outstanding!! Faldo likes bunkers so be prepared for a lot of sand. Tees, fairways and greens were in great shape. $49 was a steal for this course. Outside services gets 6 stars. Down sides no place to eat or drink after the round.
Excellent golf experience
The course is in excellent condition , the fairways and greens are in great shape . The course is not as tight and long as I am used to playing , but it is still a good challenge. I would recommend this course .
First Class All the Way Around
An absolute fabulous track. Beautiful surroundings- lush fairways- great greens and a 100% professional staff. Loved it!
Through Golf Now it was 34.00$ - I had a 10$ coupon through the GN app so I played this place for 24$. Amazing.... Get out there boys- you will love it....
Worth the money
Great course, good layout. Pace of play was good, beverage cart was seen 2x per 9 holes. Greens were firm and fast but that’s typical for summer golf. Tee boxes were nice, fairways were amazing. I will return to this course.
First Class
I think this course is what other courses want to grow up to be. Everything here was top notch and first class. The course was in fantastic shape. The fairways were generally lush and somewhat soft. Hard to believe in August in Arizona. The ball stopped fairly quickly, but the fairways were not wet like a lot of other courses this time of year. The greens were smooth and true. They did have some subtle breaks, so you need to pay attention. Carts are newer and have GPS and coolers with ice. This is not a cake walk course either. Depending on which tees you chose it can be quite difficult. Choose well and have fun.
Fantastic Golf Round
A bit hot but played really well. Starter partnered me up with Anna from PXG golf and wow can that girl play some golf. Love those par 5's !!!!!!
First time course
My son and I played the course for the first time. Despite being in mid-summer and during a pandemic, the course was in amazing shape. It had a great design for all level of golfers. We really enjoyed the experience and will definitely come back again to play the other course.
Tremendous Condition
Great facility and the course is in great shape. Only complaint; for some reason they're removed the coolers so I'd suggest bringing you own with lots of ice.
Great summer golf
Stick to the resort courses for summer golf in Arizona - they are the only ones that keep up the grass both on the fairways and the greens. This course was in great shape for the summer. The only drawback is that they do not provide a course layout so you need to have an app.
