Gary Panks designed Aliante Golf Club to be player friendly rather than score crushing. It is supposed to be a Las Vegas golf version of Cheers.
Everyone may not know your name, but there is a huge practice facility, good clubhouse digs to kick back in and most of all a 7,022-yard layout that does not play nearly as fearsome as its 139-slope rating would indicate.
Which doesn't mean there isn't plenty of variety. With 54 bunkers, 14 bridges, four ponds and two waterfalls, about all Aliante is missing is a kitchen sink on a par 5.
"Aliante is a little out of the way, but it was well worth the trip," Todd Dewey wrote in TravelGolf.com. "It was a bit surreal to be playing in a picturesque setting in that part of town and the fast pace of play made it even more enjoyable. There was absolutely no waiting."

We enjoyed the course. The pace was good. Most would let faster players through. The grill was a different story. They seemed understaffed as they had some event on the veranda and they were more interested them than the customers in the building. Our order was not input correctly by the waitress/bartender, so 2 of us had our meal while the other waited longer. I would be very hesitant to try and eat there again.

staff excellent course enjoyable we were a3 ball but waited on most holes for a 2 ball par for the course everywhere busy would play again
We had a 4some with 7:10 tee time and we finished at 11:45. The group in front of us had good pace (maybe we got lucky). For $54 we all had a great time playing this course. Yes there were parts that were dry, yes some of the fairways were fast but the greens were pretty good. I would definitely play here again!
No grass
Everything is brown. I could not believe the condition of this course. Very very very little amount of grasss seen. Shame on you
Course conditions
The course conditions were absolutely horrible. This has to be the worst course I’ve ever played. They must be close to bankruptcy… sorry for anyone who plays there. I’m not talking a run down municipal… this is a dog track .. they should be embarrassed !!!
Dry as the Sierra Desert
Course has not been watered in months. Looks like the desert. DO NOT PLAY
Disappointed
Terrrriiiibbbleee track.
First time I ever played on a spray painted track.
(All the dead, missing, parts of 80% of the fairways were SPRAY PAINTED) yes spray painted . From tee to green ; spray painted . It was a prepaid hot deal which was still well over a $hundo! Never will I play track again sorry
