Good pace, in good condition
I enjoyed this course. Pace of play was fairly quick for a Sunday-probably because several stayed away for the Super Bowl. Course was in great shape, greens were fair, but not necessarily fast. Staff were friendly. Fair course for all types of players. The only thing I would change would be the off-fairway hits. If you were off the fairway you were hitting off of rocks. I dented a couple of irons so anytime I missed the fairway, I just rolled back on because I didn't want to damage any more clubs. I would recommend playing.
A long way from Vegas
Although we had a great game on a super course it is 25 miles from the strip and is a costly taxi ride $75 with great difficulty in getting back so really do need transport. Played with two local guys who were very friendly and hospitable.
Excellent venue
3 different 9 hole courses, played the desert and valley courses. great layout, course was in great shape. overall excellent experience. Will play again on another trip to vegas I'm sure.
Friendly staff. Good value for the money. Course well maintained
Clubs were picked up in parking lot and on the cart ready to go after check in. Very friendly and professional staff
Great scenery and course condition.
Played the desert and the mountain course. the greens are in great shape and rolled true, controlling speed a factor. Greens very receptive to approach shots. Tee shots can have a risk reward on a few holes. Great fun and friendly staff. Will definitely be back with friends.
great time! great golf course
I played on a Friday starting at noon and was pleasantly surprised that there were not alot of players out in front of me. the course was well manicured and the greens fairly fast and fairly receptive. the landing areas in the fairway were wide enough to be fair to a mid handicap golfer and while challenging enough the course was not overly long. I started as a single and caught two locals - one at a time, and finished the round with them. Both were great guys. I had a very enjoyable game and finished in about 3.5 hrs. I enjoyed this golf course and have it on my list for a return visit next year. The weather was 52 deg and little wind perfect weather given the snowy environment I had come from.
Course was played very nice
Playered here Dec 29. The course was well kept and the staff friendly. The greens at first look did not look good but they were soft enough to hold a good shot and very fast and surprisingly true. Pace of play was great and a good value for the price paid on golf now.
Great courses.
There twenty seven holes here. We played Valley and mountain course.. The valley course is in rough shape as you cannot tell when the Fairway ends. Though very fun to play. The mountain course is in great shape for the time of year it is.. The par 5s are challenging an fun. Especially mountains 9 th hole..
A good round of Golf
Course is in good shape for having early morning frost, greens are well maintained pase of play for a Sunday was good.
Better than expected
After reading the different reviews I did not know what to expect. The course was pristine and well worth the drive and money. This is a beautiful course and very fun to play.
Pleasantly Surprised - Great Course
Really enjoyed playing this course. Played Desert/Valley combo with Desert nine in slighly better condition. Greens were very receptive and rolled true. This is one of the best "residential neighborhood" courses I've ever played. Never felt homes were "squeezing" fairways ... never hesitated to pull the driver out on any tee shot. Perfect weather and an awesome lunch in the clubhouse after round added to this great golf day.
with so many options in vegas this is a miss
The time of year I played I did expect some rough conditioning. This was really bad. I played several other vegas courses on the same trip and all were in off season condition but none were this bad. It was clear that no effort was being made. There are so many other courses in the area. Play one of those first.
Seasonally excellent conditions
These three nine hole tracks are usually very well maintained, with the greens taking the bulk of the wear. In late November, the courses were in extraordinary condition, and pace of play was lightning fast due to the low volume. The greens were almost back from an aeration and were very fast. Fairways were beautiful and no "bad" spots to speak of. Low advertised rates and comfortable temperatures made this a great deal.
Amazing course!
One of the nicest I've played. Fairways and greens where plush. Except for the goose n duck droppings on some holes. Other than that it was great!
This course is always in good condition.
The staff is friendly. Price is great. One of my favorite courses.
Greens are reasonable to putt and the fairways are wide open.
Silverstone Golf Course
Coming from Minnesota and playing in late November is a dream all by itself, but playing on a course as nice as this one made it even better. I would and will recomend this course to all my friends. Staff met us in the parking lot, loaded our clubs and delivered them to the starting area. GPS played accurate to all parts of the greens. The greens rolled true and were in perfect condition. Not a long course but the multiple sand traps were placed in all the right/wrong places.
Was not told it was a twighlight rate, wasn't able to play the 18 holes.
They wouln't issue a raincheck since the pace was really slow.
Staff was rude and not helpfull at all.
Fun course!
I played the valley and desert 9's, and had a good time. I went out there with my dad and we got paired up with a Korean couple that couldn't hit a fairway let alone find there balls so you could imagine it took us a little while to complete our round.
Everything was great about the place just wish it would of gone a little quicker or paired up with better players but oh well
Greens were godd but fairways rough and wet.
Overall conditions were not as expected. Fairways rough and wet, green were good. Clubhouse staff was not friendly, but starter was excellent. Didn't see a ranger while on the course.
Electric carts and GPS are a big plus. A very enjoyable round.
My spouse rode along, but the cost for that was a little high. Otherwise, It is senic and challenging. The tips on the GPS helped a great deal.
