The course under new owners and they are trying.

Some bare spots, both on fairways and greens.

It will take a while bring the course to average or better.

This course has a good layout.

For the most part greens were good and fast.

Fairways were green except the areas with high cart traffic around the greens. We did not even play the traps they were unkept and hard as a rock. We enjoyed the course and feel it was good value.

I played Hernando Oaks last year, and the course was not in good condition. This time, it was excellent!! The greens were beautiful, and the fairways were in much better shape. It was fun to play.

I have played here many times and use the driving range frequently. We had a tee time for 12:53 and were stuck at the pro shop waiting for a cart because they over booked and had 10-12 carts down. FINALLY get a cart and the tee box is backed up. My brother in law and myself can usually finish 18 holes in 3 hours maybe a hair over, 4 1/2 hours later we had to skip the last 2 holes and just leave. No ranger, no care it seems like once you pay and get out there. Could be a lot better of a course if they managed it properly, the manager always has an I don’t care attitude and is there to collect and leave.

Played for 4 1/2 hours and finally just had to pick up and leave. Had to wait just to get a cart because 12 carts are broken down. I know all 12 didn’t just break down yesterday so it’s poor management not maintaining carts. Had to wait on hole to tee off.

Nice course, friendly staff. Fivesome out ahead of us. And were terribly slow. Ranger came out and did nothing. We quit after 14 holes and probably won’t be back.

First time at this course, weather was a factor, heavy rain yesterday made the course pretty damp and the traps unplayable; course had cart on 90 degree rule which was great. Greens were in fantastic shape, fairways were good after the rain and the rough is what it is this time of year. We will be back, on a warmer day…

Everything about the course was great except for the sand bunkers needing attention. They very dry and hard, like hitting off cement. Also need ranger to keep pace of play going. Slow golfers who do not play ready golf, and can't find where they hit there ball.

Hernando Oaks is doing a lot of good things. The course conditions were very good, except for the traps.

The practice area is nicely maintained & GolfNow’s deal included range balls at a good value. Folks said there is new ownership recently. I hope they continue making improvements and keep up the good work! 👏🤞

Maybe a clubhouse in the future ?? ….

Poor fairways, hard to find any playable spot.

If it had fairway sprinklers, it would probably be a little better.

Like playing out of hard ground and sand? This is your course.

They put way too many people on the course. I don’t know what happened but it was a nightmare. Either the Ranger wasn’t doing his job or they overbooked it. After eight holes we had to quit. It was so frustrating. I don’t think I’ll go back there for quite a while.

The front was beat up and pace was not great...had to wait on every hole and that really continued throughout the day. The back 9 was in better shape...The tees are beat up but the greens are in decent shape due to heavy watering. Leads to the edges being soaked so short shots stay short with no bounce onto the greens. Nice layout with fair challenges throughout. They recently had a frost so the rough browned up so it kinda looked even worse.
