this course ranks up there with me .!!

Sherman Hills is always in excellent condition....nice wide fairways with not too much sand or water hazards....firm, fast greens.....pace of play was slower than normal because it was a Saturday.....well worth the drive from the Port Richey area....looking forward to returning again sometime soon.....

Played in the afternoon heat and finished in under 3 hours. A few greens which have been struggling are slowly but surely coming back. Enjoy this course, worth the drive from Tampa. The huge tree on #11 is gone- much to my benefit!

This is a great course normally. Layout is fun. Some I feeding holes and undulated greens. And greens is where my issue lies. Several had some pretty rough patches. And one was one they just shut down and repaired earlier this season. A few were big enough they should have been marked ground under repair so you could ‘legally’ take relief. We did anyway a couple time. The rest of the course was in great shape.

Our cart had some type of housing falling off and ragging the ground. They said just drive it anyway and if it falls off stick it in the cart. We left it by a tree because it was way too big to put in the cart.

I love this course but the greens were not good this round. Makes me question the grounds keeping staff. You repair a green(total tear down) and then the same problem comes back a couple months later.

The course is still very playable so don’t pass it up.

There are many things I like about this course. However, no water on the course in this extreme heat just as an acceptable. Waiting to get to the ninth hole and go inside and ask for a couple of glasses of water. Not the best. The fairways need work. The people are nice.

Haven't played this course much this summer, but when I do, always in very good condition, tee through green.and u can't beat the friendliness of the staff. Strongly recommend Sherman Hills to those who have not played it. Mostly a links style course excepting 13 through 15. The greens are quick but fair. It is worth the drive from Tampa.

Course conditions weren’t great but liked the layout, price and staff.

COURSE GREAT CONDITION FAIRWAYS GREAT GREENS GREAT FEW HAD SMALL DRYED AREAS. ALL IN ALL GREAT GETTING READY FOR THE SNOW BIRDS.

I read a review that said the course was in bad shape. This couldn’t be further from the truth! I played on Labor Day and the course was in amazing shape! A couple greens had ground under repair on the edges next to the fringe but didn’t effect play with the flag being nowhere near and you could just chip over. Definitely will make the trip to go play again.

Course design/layout was impressive. However, the condition of the cart path, fairways and greens are borderline tragic. Weeds have overrun the fairways, the greens are rough and the cart paths have sections that cant be navigated. This Course needs immediate attention with new supervision.

Course is in very good condition for lack of rain. Slow play was horrible. Played as a twosome and came up on a 4 some on Hole 13. The group was playing from the blue tees and not very good golfers. They never let us play through. On 18 I was 270 yards from the green. Hit a 3 wood up 20 yards short of the green as the 4 some was putting out. One of the group walked off the green picked my ball up and threw it in the water. I drove up in my cart to see what the problem was and all I got was a profane laced screaming beat down from one of the group. Totally unacceptable living in Sherman Hills made it even worse as he implied we just drove on the course right behind them and began playing. People like this should not even be on the course. Just voicing my opinion why someone needs to be keeping an eye on pace of play. There was no one in front of them and should of allowed us to play through.

Course is in great shape. Fairways and greens are well maintained. Our foursome was very happy with the course.

Can’t wait to play again!
