Bear's Best Atlanta

Bears best is always fun to play. The course was in good winter condition. Cart path only which, oddly, I appreciate because they are taking care of the course. Greens were true if not a bit slow. The round was memorable for my first hole in one on 16!

It was a beautiful day. The course was in excellent condition. They take great care at maintaining the facility.

Excellent course where each hole is one of Jack's best from around the world. Holes were challenging but most fairways were easy enough to hit. This course is all about the approach as the greens are extremely difficult.

Had a very pleasant round despite the cool weather. Course was in great shape! We were particularly pleased with the recent bunker improvements.

Tee box is not worth. Every tee shot you have to find a new place and angle of your body. you have watch both your legs in teebox. otherwise you may be uphill or downhill tee box

Picked up hot deal. Definitely return if i see another one. Level tee boxes, manicured fairways, true greens.

Very interesting course with the design of each hole being different. We are a seniors group that play many different courses. We all,six on this day, scored above our average, but chalk it up to wet winter conditions and tight lies. We look forward to playing it again in the summer.

Always enjoy playing here. Love the layout and course conditions and it's really nice to have green fairways in the winter. Only issue that needs attention was the very poor condition of the range and par 3 tee boxes...too many divots.

Great place to play. Don't be in a hurry I've played here a few times and it has always been over 4 hour rounds. But the course is in great shape well worth what we booked it for on golfnow. Great food in the restaurant.

I always have enjoyed playing Bear's Best. It has one of the best practice facilities in GA. Love the layout. My only complaint would be that some of the greens needed some attention.. I'm sure they will be handled by the spring. Not a cheap course to play unless you catch a deal on Golfnow and that will most likely be in the afternoon..

I was able to secure a great deal in playing this course through Golfnow coupled with the season being winter. The course was great with fast and true greens and the weather was chilly. This course is challenging as I am not an avid golfer but I appreciated the great condition under these conditions.

This course is great to play due to the variety of the holes. Some of the greens are small and challenging. Pace of play (during the week) was pretty fast. I have been playing for a year and a half and found this course to be a challenge but a lot of fun.. Will be playing it again soon.

You will have a great time. May be slow but enjoy playing a great and pretty course.

The course was in good shape and played well. The greens held shots well. A bit slow at 5 hours. Which is attributed to the shotgun, I hope. Definitely will be back.

My wife and I played Bear's Best on Friday, November 21, 2014 and we were very impressed by the course and the staff. It is a very challenging golf course that makes you use every club in your bag. For November, the course is in great shape and the greens are in excellent. The staff is friendly and since we teed off at 2:00pm the rate was excellent for this course. Bear's Best is one of the best courses I have ever played and I look forward to playing it again. I would highly recommend it.

If you want to play a well manicured course with fast greens, this is the place! Jack designed a nice layout with his own favorite golf holes from courses around the world (that most of us could never afford to play)!

This course is absolutely beautiful. My friend and i scored a great hot deal and played for $45 (best course anywhere for this price).

Black sand elegantly cascades the bunkers on hole number 4. Cross mowed fairways stand between you and beautifully rolled greens, that are both, soft and true.

Staff was very friendly, from the proshop to the cart girls. In my opinion, its a bit pricey regularly but if you can get that great deal, or can afford it, you definitely will not be dissapointed!

This is my first review I've ever written for a course, but after I played Bear's Best yesterday I felt compelled to do so. I had been trying to play this course for a while and finally found a hot deal on GolfNow for $33.

The course lived up to its expectations. Great fairways, greens were true, and the upkeep was one of the best I've seen. Would definitely recommend this to another golfer and I will go back there again soon.
