Whisper Creek Golf Club

Course was excellent. Great shape. Pace of play was a bit slow but not horrible

Whisper Creek is very well maintained with a good course layout. Good variety of holes. I would definitely recommend playing here

Whisper Creek has an amazing potential. Its layout is challenging and serene. They need to figure out the greens keeping situation. Sand traps are awful and unkept. Either fill them in or maintain the sand levels. Tee boxes are overgrown and not level. It’s like there is no pride in the work they do. If Whisper Creek just charged $10-15 maybe even $20 more a round could they afford to have better maintenance and be one of the great courses in the area again. Bowes, Highlands and Blackstone are much better options in this area. Even Marengo Ridge is starting to catch up to Whisper Creek in quality.

Really nice layout. Friendly staff it’s worth playing.

We played this course on a Sunday afternoon/late morning and our round took over 5 hours 20minutes. The course was in good condition and was well staffed, but they did not have a ranger on course and it made the round miserable for all of us. People were friendly but no one was monitoring the pace of play. They should have known it was going to be slow when we made the turn at 2hours and 15

We booked online for $76.

*note: we live 55 minutes away, it’s not like we can just head back home.

To begin,

The course layout is not bad, but apparently always under construction. Every sand pit is unplayable, weeds, grass, rocks, etc.

In addition, it took us 6 hours to golf 18 holes.(with carts).

Turns out is only car path only, which I was told from the range master on the first hole. (After check in).

None of this information was published in the morning. Even with this it poor communication they still wouldn’t refund us our purchase of the golf carts. I would have rather walked 18…

Just really annoyed with the service from the manager. He wouldn’t even negotiate a solution. Literally told me “we cannot control the weather”, I responded with, but you can control what is on your booking cite. He was speechless.

Safe to say never going back!
