Whisper Creek Golf Club

Whisper Creek is always in good shape it have nice greens Well taken care of tee boxes and a great layout. My only issue with this course is the slow play. I can’t stand when people play from tees too far for there handicap it really slows the pace of play.

The white Tees are almost 6,200 so plenty far for myself and most people over 50, but to many people were on the green tees and over 6,600yrds so most of the older guy trying to play from here using driver 3 wood and still not making the green on Par 4’s so slow to watch and wait

I will only come here in off peak time due to very slow play

Decent course but the amenities are below average. The staff inside and outside are excellent

I've played this course many times in the past, but on this day, the course was in the worst shape I've ever seen it. Tee boxes were all torn up, and divots were unfilled. It looked like they just held a scramble and didn't repair or move tee boxes. The fairways and greens were in reasonable shape, but there were way too many unrepaired ball marks on the greens.

The bunkers were horrendous. The ones that had sand in them also had knee to waist-high weeds. Several bunkers had no sand in them and were marked ground under repair.

In short, I will not be returning to this course this season.

Really need to fix the bunkers. They look like from an abandoned course.

Huge patches of dead grass. Even on the tee boxes. Most of the bunkers overgrown / wasteland.

All in all the course is in an average condition.

The greens are pretty slow and some bunker look like waste areas. On the 8th and 9th hole trees and bushes got to be cut. Even with knowing the course, it's pure guesswork where to aim for the shots. We were stuck behind a flight which didn't let us play through and therefore pace of play with 5 hours was far too slow.

The course was nice, fairly good condition. The one complaint is a 2some starting at 530pm with a cart playing 9 should be able to finish before 815pm. The last 3 holes couldn't be played due to a high school team on the course and not being able to play through. Paying customers should have been able to play through or have had an option to play another 9 instead of playing 6 and having the quit from it being too dark.

Overall this is a nice layout, fun to play but the bunkers especially the fairway bunkers virtually unplayable. The staff very friendly.
