Bunkers are horrible
Really need to fix the bunkers. They look like from an abandoned course.
Whisper Creek
All in all the course is in an average condition.
The greens are pretty slow and some bunker look like waste areas. On the 8th and 9th hole trees and bushes got to be cut. Even with knowing the course, it's pure guesswork where to aim for the shots. We were stuck behind a flight which didn't let us play through and therefore pace of play with 5 hours was far too slow.
Pace of play, high school team
The course was nice, fairly good condition. The one complaint is a 2some starting at 530pm with a cart playing 9 should be able to finish before 815pm. The last 3 holes couldn't be played due to a high school team on the course and not being able to play through. Paying customers should have been able to play through or have had an option to play another 9 instead of playing 6 and having the quit from it being too dark.
Bunkers are a joke
Overall this is a nice layout, fun to play but the bunkers especially the fairway bunkers virtually unplayable. The staff very friendly.
Not worth the $$$$$
No $70+ golf course should have “sand traps” that are 50% dirt / 50% grass & 0% SAND. The tee boxes were chewed up. It was trash. Never again.
Fun course
Always a nice round here. Staff is very friendly and the course was in good shape.
What’s up with the bunkers?
Normally this course is in decent shape, but I don’t know what is going on with the bunkers. Most are full of weeds and rocks. It seems like they have given up on maintaining them this year. Greens and fairways were in good shape, but a few of the tee boxes were pretty rough. I guess that is to be expected with the dry conditions we have had this year.
Incredible value
This course is a great deal on TeeOffs. Everything about it was nice,except maybe the traps, but ummm...don't hit it in them! No better value on this websitethan this place.
