Cherry Blossom Golf Course & Country Club

I’ve heard a lot about this golf course from family and friends. The layout is excellent but I was disappointed with course conditions, level of staffing, and the condition of the range balls on the driving range. The course maintenance was lacking, there was no starter on the first tee, and the range balls were dirty with at least 20% having cuts on them. We had tee time reserved but it appeared people were just teeing off on the first hole whenever they pleased. For the rates charged ther are many nicer, better managed courses close by, in Lexington, Paris, and Nicholasville. Tee times matter at well managed courses.

Shower water in locker room needs to be fixed. Ice cold.

This course is always in great shape and fun to play. The staff is friendly and helpful. I recommend it to anyone looking for a challenging day on the course.

It’s been two years since I’ve played here . Not the same place I remember. Somethings going on with this place . We get there two hrs ahead of our tee time to get some food in there nice dining room. Well not so much anymore. The guy told us that we don’t have a cook so the grill is closed... hot dogs tho. The course is real banged up . The rough is real, real thin. Fairways are also thin. The best part were the greens. DANDELIONS all over the place... really disappointing.

Apparently our timing was perfect. We played as a threesome, and although there were several golfers out, we never had anyone hold us up or push us until we reached hole 15. The weather was great and the course was in fine shape for the this early in the spring. The greens were fantastic and quite fast. I hope to be back soon.

JSUT A VERY NICE LAYOUT..FAIRWAYS WERE GORGEOUS AND THE WHOLE COURSE WAS VERY NICE. I WANT TO GO BACK THERE WHEN I HAVE MY "A" GAME,,,I ENJOYED MY ROUND VERY MUCH...

Course was in good condition. There were several un-repaired pitch marks on the greens, but everthing else was fine. Cart paths need some work.

Good course good conditions I would definitely go back the staff was great the only negative was that the greens were beat up and there were a lot of pitch mark. But overall nice course.

I played CB many, many times. I love this course and truly think it's the best public course in Central KY. The fairways are perfect, like walking on carpet. Shots 170yds and in from the Fairways here are fun. Greens are true but can be slow at times. The one thing CB has to do is repave the entire cart path throughout the course. It is incredibly embarrassing for such a nice course to have deplorable cart paths. Having to dodge pot holes the size of small meteorites is ridiculous. This course makes too much money and is too nice for this. I hit one yesterday on accident where I thought the cart broke, and even found myself just driving in the rough instead. Fix this. Other than that, I'll be back. I always shoot well here - terrific course!!

Fast greens, closely mowed fairways, challenging finish.

With the Golf-Now rate of $25........one of the best deals in the area.

Only complaint - cart paths are in serious need of resurfacing.

My expectations were high when I saw this as one of the top-rated golf courses in the state. I was visiting from VA for the day and only had time for one round and hoped for a really nice course.

The course conditions were just ok, they had just aerated and fertilized the greens (which left them looking like Kentucky bluegrass) so I'll overlook that temporary inconvenience. Even still the course is only adequately maintained. The layout on the front nine was fairly pedestrian but the back nine was much more interesting and the finishing three holes definitely lived up to their reputation!

I was the only golfer on the course when I arrived at 7:30 and was able to take my time and enjoy myself as best I could without knowing the course at all. It wasn't difficult to play as a first-timer, no blind tee shots that I can remember.

If I came back to the Lexington area I would probably try a different course but would still recommend this course, at $35 for a morning tee time cart included, I can't really complain!

Course was in great shape. Slow play on the back side was the only issue, but it was a Saturday.

A good central Kentucky choice if you're in the area.

Love this course! From out of the area, but will return to play soon. Nice layout, excellent greens, challenging, but not extremely difficult.

Weather has been tough, and it's still early in the season in all fairness. Green's were rollin well and fairways in good shape. The rough was spotty with bare areas and clumpy. We should have been playing winter rules but decided to play it down which made for some tough lies. Still this course should be great in a month or two, just wish others knew how to repair their ball marks and divots. The group in front of us couldn't even take a bunker!
