Bang for the buck
annual trip to dos and was very pleased. Greens were rolling true, fairways decent. Bunkers need a lot of work but the starter was honest about them. Looks like some teeboxes are getting moved/under construction so that should give the course a fresh look. The #1 thing about Dos compared to most courses is they’ve NEVER price gauged the green fees. Courses in the area have doubled and sometimes TRIPLED their green fees since Covid. Dos has not. This will always be a course to revisit as long as that’s the case.
First time at Dos Lagos
I enjoyed playing Dos Lagos. It’s a good course. The elevation changes on the back were fun. The fairways were in good shape. Some of the tee boxes need some watering/maintenance but that’s almost every course. A cart girl would be helpful too; I needed a snack and didn’t want to stop on the way to the 10th tee, I like keeping pace.
The staff was friendly. Overall, I was happy with the $50 I spent and would make the 40 minute drive again from OC. Recommend.
Delay
There were so many beginners in the tee time in front of me, and there was no staff to help me get them moving quickly. My team waited 20 to 30 minutes for every tee time
Challenging Course
First time playing a course in the desert area and just say I am impressed. Challenging course with lots of different slopes for the greens. Good pace of play. Only thing is there isn’t a driving range. They have mats with net to hit but irons only. Only downside to this place.
What a gem
Had the pleasure of playing here on my day off, had an absolute blast the entire time, Thankfully, because this course is over an hour away. I luckily got to check in with the very helpful, courteous, and friendly manager Matt. Even before his first coffee Matt was still a legend offering up course advice and tips quickly getting me out to practice.
The bar staff is incredible, super friendly, stiff drinks. I CAN confirm that the cocktails take at least 3 strokes off the days round.
The course lay out is challenging and incredibly fun. I found myself pulling irons out on the short par 4’s. Very fun and challenging elevation changes. Greens are rolling perfectly, fairways cut tight, rough was excellent. SUPER challenging pin positions! Loved it. I drove the green on 9 and 4 putt for a bogey it was glorious. I Actually booked a round for my day off this week, and I’m bringing my father to see this place himself.
See y’all out there!
nice course in corona ca
our group of 6 players were split into 2 groups of 3. We all had a great time and would return to play again.
Great Course!
It was our first and definitely not our last time at Dos Lagos. A fun, challenging and beautiful course! A tournament was just ending when we arrived and although it looked like a crazy scene, the staff welcomed us and assisted us in getting checked in. We enjoyed the challenging back nine the most. The course is beautiful and the day went fast because every hole seemed the more exciting than the one before.
Best value around.
Great challenging track. For the money it’s a top pick. Greens are rolling fast and true. Will def be back.
Tough!
It's a decent course with very challenging holes. If your game is suffering, it will be a rough go. Uphill, downhill, sidehill lies. Not much of a driving range. It's a cage like driving range. All in all a great course. I will play again.
Crack of dawn
Played here last week. Tee time was 6:15 am. It was pretty cold for the first few holes but there was only 2 groups in front of us and they played fast so the pace was good. Good lay out and good conditions minus the greens being punched which we were aware of ahead of time. Great value at $40 a round.
Course is fun and in good shape
A couple buddies and I played late afternoon on a Saturday. The courses in really good shape. The pace of play was pretty slow coming in at about five hours, but that’s to be expected on a busy Saturday afternoon in the spring. The staff was super helpful and friendly. This is a great course, especially for the value. Keep up the great work!
Lots of Water!
I think if you go early it maybe better as they tend to run out of golf carts and you have to wait.
