Quarry Pines Golf Club

This track one of the best in Tucson. It’s up there with Starr Pass and Omni. The course staff super friendly and kind. Didn’t know that in order to cancel a player. I needed to call the course. So the club house waived the cancellation for the one player. That’s excellent customer service.

Bring your A game or a sense of humor and a bunch of golf balls. On most of the holes there is simply no where to miss. A bad swing doesn’t mean a difficult next shot it means you need a new ball. However it has some beautiful holes and keeps drawing us back to play. The breakfast sandwich before the round was very reasonably priced, delicious and huge.

I know that they are finally getting the bunkers finished but it was a long time waiting

This unique course spreads around a quarry, making for some drop offs and some interesting views. The course layout is direct, and the greens rather large. The overall conditions for the summer were as expected a little bear places. Having played several desert courses in the Tucson area, I find this to be one of the better ones. I like the hills, there's even a pond that I had to play over, and the pay to play in the middle of the summer afternoon was super super fast.

I was pleasantly surprised to see the turf transition looking as good as it did. Not sure if they have sprayed the rye yet? The greens were a bit slower than expected. Could really feel the bristle of the Bermuda grass and the grain. We had a lot of fun playing the course.

Very interesting course and we really enjoyed the layout down in the Quarry. Some very challenging holes, but exciting to play. I shot one of my better rounds this year, so the course is doable.

Need a driving range!!! But the quarry golfing is great...

First timer. The staff’s enthusiasm and friendliness are infectious and helped kick off a great day of golf. I think pace of play is improved when groups are all having fun and remain positive. It’s a beautiful course and presents some challenges that any level of golfer can enjoy. Greens and fairways were in excellent condition. I’m adding this to my list of regular spots.
