Quarry Pines Golf Club

Do I think this course is worth $65+ PLUS the $18 cart fee…no. But we got it on a hot deal ($29 each) and all three of us walked so that was definitely a screaming deal. The greens were in excellent condition, fairways were great too and the staff is always great at this course. Definitely will continue playing here, just always have to look out for deals.

Decent conditions, greens a bit slow or grow , slow play. Would play course again though.

Course is laid out around a mining quarry and brings some very interesting holes into the back nine especially. One of our guys had his plane canceled and couldn’t make it. The clerk at Quarry Pines seemed to understand and did not charge me at the course. Disappointing GolfNow charged my credit card two days later. Because of this action I will not use GolfNow or play Quarry Pines for a long time.

The course rewards a well placed tee shot. We played the black tees. My typical drive is under 225. From there I often had reasonable opportunities to hit the greens. Lush fairways and remarkable views.

Course Was was in great shape. Fairways were really cut short it seemed like but what ever. 11 hole par 3 the pin was to close to the front of the green nobody’s golf balls would stay on the green. I did get a hole in 1 on the 6th hole par 3 183 yards!!!

We got a hot deal at 3:00pm for 9, and barely saw another golfer on the course! The course was immaculate and appropriately challenging. We saw a lot of wildlife, which is a bonus, but the breathtaking views are primarily on the back nine, so we’re doing all 18 tomorrow!

I’ve definitely seen and played quarry in better condition than its in right now, but it’s definitely still a solid track right now for the money. Staff here is always top tier and all the facilities were super clean. I try to play here every time I’m in Tucson!

Interesting, fun, scenic course. Narrow fairways and target golf on some holes but really fun. The course was is really nice shape and the efficiency that this course runs on is one of the best public I have ever played. Overall a fun day priced right. The question is how many balls will you need?

This was the fourth time that I have played Quarry Pines. I highly recommend this course to my friends.

What a great course. One of my top 10 around the world.

This course has always been one of my favorites. Now, not so much. Greens are slow & bumpy. Bunkers are either wet & rocky or dry & rocky. Rough is so thick in places, if you miss a fairway you may not find your ball. Fairways are mostly ok, except where they’re wet.

All in all…Too pricey for the shape it’s in now.

Course is absolutely stunning this course could double there rates and I would still play here amazing conditions many picturesque holes

I must not have seen the fine print that charged me $99 when I made my reservation. Look out when you use this service!

If you like mountain courses with firm greens that won't hold a well placed shot, then Quarry Pines is for you! I had 10 approach shots that either hit the green or landed in front that wouldn't hold and ended up long. Round took 4.5 hours.

The fairways are narrow and anything off the fairway is likely to be a lost or unplayable ball. The course is picturesque, being carved out of an abandoned quarry, but not my cup of tea. My best shot of the day was the picture I took of #17 green with the Sombrero formation in the background.
