del Lago Golf Club sits at an elevation of 3,400 feet, enjoying a temperature that is five degrees cooler than Tucson in the summer, which makes a big difference under the hot Arizona sun. Winding through the hills and valleys of the high desert, the golf course features over 120 feet of elevation changes that present tricky uneven lies. The dramatic undulations also offer beautiful views of the Rincon and Santa Catalinas Mountain ranges. Golfers start at the highest point on the course and then play down into the valley before getting to the back nine, which plays along the Pantano Wash. The first hole is the only forced carry on the course, the remaining holes are friendlier off the tees. Seven lakes dot the golf course, coming into play on six holes, and there is also heavy bunkering around the greens.

Pleasantly surprised.
Our first time playing here. We will definitely be back!
A storm came through and could only finish 13 holes.
The course is being cleaned of excess brush and looks better than when I played a couple months ago.
Need new cart paths
This is an excellent course, a great design and challenging without being too difficult. Whereas the cart paths are not good, the course is kept in very good condition, even in the most adverse conditions such as extreme heat (100 plus degrees).
Pleasantly surprised.
This was our first visit and we really liked the course and restaurant. Staff was great! Only negative was the course conditions were a little rough, but to be expected during summer season.
A Beauty!!!
First time playing this course and I must say it was one of the better courses I’ve played in the desert! I mean its conditions were just lush!! Fairways were amazing, very lightly firm! Greens had amazing roll/speed to them! Overall truly amazing course! I definitely will be taking a trip to this course again!!!
Nice course
Was first time ive played here and everything was great
Good condition
The course was in great shape. The summer rains have helped keep the fairways and greens in good condition. No burnt out areas. However, the bunkers were horrible. Most were dirt, a few had rakes, and the others were very hard and weedy. Need to get rid of the sand or start maintaining them.
Great course in beautiful setting
Del Lago is a hidden gem in Vail Arizona. Great course at a great price. Maintained very well, even during the heat of summer.
Excellent greens
Greens were very "true". The were pure in their roll and mod- difficult in their read. Excellent speed.
Hot summer day on the course
The course is challenging and could use a bit of brush cleanup off the cart paths and fairways. The fairways could use more water but all and all was a fun course to play. I started as a single and picked up three other friendly players along the course.
I look forward to playing another round at Del Lago Golf Course.
