About
Carved from forests of towering oaks and pines, Old Corkscrew Golf Club exhibits all of the superior characteristics that define Nicklaus Signature courses. The absence of houses around the golf course adds to the secluded and peaceful feel that is provided by the dense thickets of trees that surround it. Jack Nicklaus himself was a prominent presence throughout every phase of the course's construction, incorporating well balanced holes that vary in direction, look, and feel. Proper club selection will be greatly rewarded on this golf course. The fast-paced, undulating greens sit up to 20 feet above the lush, rolling fairways, which can create some tricky pin placements if you're not careful. Old Corkscrew Golf Club's fairways are rather generous, but they are framed by carefully sculpted bunkers. Several large ponds come into play on nearly every hole and there are also numerous sand traps strategically placed along the greensides.

Challenging
Challenging Nicklaus designed course. Green maintenance and pace of play were disappointing given cost to play. Greens need work!
Didn't meet expectations.
We had great anticipation to play as we expected a great golf experience based on price. The greens were terrible, lots of dead spots and inconsistent speed, the bunkers were mostly mud and not sand. Fairways were good and it is a nice course. We expected so much more for course conditioning. 1 and done, we will not go back.

If this isn’t already on your bucket list, it should be. Great Course glue I will be coming back to play this track again!
The course was beautiful and challenging
They let to many 2somes out and play was slow.
Needs to be better
This is a Fantastic layout. A difficult Nicklaus design. Interestingly, the greens are smaller than the average he designs adding to the challenge.
Unfortunately, the overall conditions are poor, especially for the tremendously elevated greens fees. These were $225 for an early morning time. The conditions for a course layout of this caliber, and price were poor to say the least. Slow and inconsistent greens.
Disappointing
They were already 10 minutes behind on the first tee. Play was relatively slow.
If this gets back to the good old days, it certainly is worth playing but for the current fees and conditions, I would not go back which is sad.
This is a "don't miss" course.
We book here every time we are in the area. Incredibly scenic at every turn, gorgeous greens. The staff is welcoming and helpful. The charge for a guest/rider seems excessive.
Great track
This course had it all; sand was awesome, fairways were pristine, greens had just enough undulation (could’ve been rolled to make them a tad faster), and the rough was manageable. I’ll be back rest assured!

Buckle Up
Good public golf courses in Naples are limited. Corkscrew is a great layout, in a beautiful setting, NO houses. Green were disappointing for a $200+ round... but overall condition good-to-excellent... but make no mistake, this is a tough course. Better have your A-game! Green complexes difficult, unforgiving.
