Old Corkscrew Golf Club

Couse was in average condition. Little to thin grass on fairways and rough.

Admin was confused and charge my credit card twice. Still trying to resolve with Visa.

Would not recommend at $240.00.

We have played the course many times over the years but this had to be the slowest round ever, nearly 5 hours with no marshall in site. Do better guys@

Played here for the first time 3/3/24 and was greeted by a very friendly staff. The practice facilities are first rate. This is a wonderful layout but that is where it ends. Absolutely the worst greens I have ever played and I am 71 years old so have seen it all in my day. We were out at 8:22 and freshly cut but were the bumpiest slowest greens I have ever played. Could not tell you what grass was as I have never seen it on any greens I have seen I the area. Definitely not worth the greens fee of $240 that we paid which is why we played in 3 hrs as no one was there as I guess the were smarter than us.

Course has a great layout and amazing potential, however the greens were very slow and the bunkers need some care. Could be a gem with some better care

Love the layout and it’s a beautiful course. I was really shocked by the conditions of the greens. VERY slow. The pace of play was also bad. It took us 4 hrs and 45 min to play. Never saw a ranger. For the amount of money, the greens should be great and pace of play better.

Awesome Nicklaus design in a a beautiful scenic area. Was very disappointed with how slow the greens were. For a $200 round of golf I would expect the greens to roll better than a municipal track. Outside of the greens the condition was great and I enjoyed the layout and challenges the course provided. I will be back once the greens improve.

The setting of this course is beautiful. It is a very difficult course. Target golf. So tight everywhere. Must play it at least 3 times to figure it out. Greens: At the end they told us that they had a disease last year and they are working on redoing all the greens so they do not mow them. They will be great as soon as they can start mowing them. I will go back when I find out the greens are mowed. Staff is so friendly. It is high season in March so this was the only course I could find to play.

I have always enjoyed playing Old Corkscrew in the past however this past week the greens were in very poor shape. They should (1) let you know in advance when they are having trouble with the greens and (2) offer a discount because of the poor conditions.

Challenging Nicklaus designed course. Green maintenance and pace of play were disappointing given cost to play. Greens need work!

We had great anticipation to play as we expected a great golf experience based on price. The greens were terrible, lots of dead spots and inconsistent speed, the bunkers were mostly mud and not sand. Fairways were good and it is a nice course. We expected so much more for course conditioning. 1 and done, we will not go back.

If this isn’t already on your bucket list, it should be. Great Course glue I will be coming back to play this track again!
