Old Corkscrew Golf Club

Great course, have played it many times and this was far and away the worst condition I have ever seen the greens in.

Not sure what was going on. But for the price per round, they should be better or at least let people know.

Other than that the fairways, tee boxes were great.

Bunkers were like hitting off concrete.. no powder.

Wow! This is a great golf course, a real test so much like a top USGA US Open venue from a challenging perspective. The staff informed me that Stewart Cink played here years ago and really enjoyed his time. This is definitely a must play when visiting SW Florida.

Couple of the greens were sand in spots. Was in beautiful condition last time played. 10 man grounds crew kept on blocking the holes to golfers and it was a frustrating experience..

As usual, this course is difficult but always fun to play. Greens however are not in good condition and slow. Pace of play was excellent around 3 hours and a half for our foursome

We had a great time playing this beautiful layout! Challenging indeed, but real fun to play. No homes or condos on the golf course, a real great stand-alone experience. What a gem! Looks as though they are recovering from some green issues, but did not interfere with our enjoyment. I highly recommend this great track!

The overall conditions of the course were very good. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Recently played Old Corkscrew again and was impressed with the improvement to the greens. Some work is still going on, but the greens are remarkably improved than they were a few months ago. Overall, had a great time and thoroughly enjoyed the day.

We thought they were having some difficulty with a number of the greens. Otherwise, the course was wonderful.

This course has a great design nice scenery and good elevation for a swfl course but the greens were in terrible shape. For the price in summer that is not acceptable. Tons of flies as well

Looks like fungus attacked the greens. Most were looked horrible and were unplayable in spots. Was very much looking forward to this course but it was way below my expectations.

Good course, but green is beyond bad, I played twice hopefully better second time, but got worse. Nice people working but need time to fix the green,

I was really disappointed today. The greens must have had a Fungai and most was really and I mean really bad. They did just aerate them but for the money I really feel I wasted money today playing here. I have the PGA pass and many many courses have the price and way better.

This is a terrific course. Once they get the fungus on the greens completely eradicated, this will be a top 25 course in Florida - easily.

Great track. Greens had some issues. I’m sure will be fixed by busy season. Will play again!

Great design and classic Nicklaus tough. As soon as they fix the fungus disease on the greens, this course will be back to second to none as far as daily fee courses in South Florida are concerned,. Still, the greens are passable as is, so go play this course!

Everything other than the greens are immaculate here. Extremely challenging amazing layout, but there are some burnt spots in the greens. It’s not bad enough that it should deter you from playing, but it is something you should know before going in

Greens were in bad shape-staff said they have a fungus

The course was in decent condition. Some greens were beat up. Staff was very friendly. Wouldn’t pay peak season prices, but got it on a hot deal for $83.
