Lovely course. Wonderful layout. The Greens could have been better.

Unfortunately they lost the greens here. Maybe fungus? Nobody explained it to me and nobody apologized. It's that bad. It's bad enough that the ordinary overpriced fees at OC are inexcusable. It's bad enough that I'm not playing here again until it's resolved. Any other golf course would simply reduce the pricing. OC puts itself out there as elite. It's a Nicklaus Signature course. I get that. Maybe their contract with Nicklaus Design requires them to keep the fees elevated. Lots of possibilities but its all hush hush. Anyone with business chops would understand this glaring problem and respond to it accordingly. It's that bad. It's bad enough that their website should disclose how horrifying these greens are. At least 4 of them are unplayable. Not one single green is in average shape. Recall the worst greens you've ever played on and these are worse. What a waste of an otherwise superior golf course.

Was lucky enough to play with a friend who was a member so it was very affordable based on normal rates.

Course was in great shape except for greens which had a few with sketchy areas on them and some bunkers which didn't have enough sand in them, which I know about because I was in a lot of them, as there are many and in strategically tough locations to avoid. It is not a beginners course. I am a decent player so I enjoyed the challenge and would highly recommend a round here.

Top notch golf course. The layout is beautiful. Love playing in the summer when the rates are affordable. They had just sanded the greens so putting was a little difficult today. But otherwise the course is in great condition and I will go back as it is one of my favorite courses in the area

After overpaying $260 because of a lack of public competition, we discovered that they heavily sand the greens every Monday night. Horrible surfaces that absolutely ruined an already tough course. Tuesday’s should definitely not be full fare if this is what you get.

Save your money and play elsewhere!

Great course. Ridiculously high greens fees. Got paired with 2 strangers who would tee off at the next hole while we were still putting the previous. Played later at the National at Ave Maria and had just as much fun for $50 instead of $520. Keep looking before booking here.

I had played this course last year and was very pleased with the course conditions and the complexity of playing it. This time, the course conditions were not as great, in particular the greens. We were told in preparation for an event, they had sanded the greens but had not rolled or cut them yet, however, they did not adjust the $269 green fees for providing a less than optimal conditions of play at a course that everyone has high expectations of.

One of our favorite courses to play when we are down here every March. This time around was very disappointing as the greens were recently top dressed and they were mostly unplayable. Course conditions including bunkers looked neglected as well. Apparently the course is under new ownership and we’ll give it a pass. It would have been nice to reduce the green fees a little bit to compensate for the green conditions.

One of my favorite courses to play in the area. Definitely a challenging layouts. Tee boxes and fairways were in good shape, the greens were not. Probably wouldn’t pay $200+ for a round right now because of the greens.

Greens covered in sand, almost unplayable, we should have been notified somehow before we got to first green or better before booking a very expensive tee time. Heard that course is changing ownership in April and they are cutting corners until then. Course layout is great, very challenging and fair.

Fantastic layout, fair play. If you were in trouble it was deserved. Tee blocks and fairways in good shape. Greens were sub par throughout course. First five greens are in rough shape, had to move ball from certain spots on green. Not currently worth 250 USD with the shape of greens.

Course came highly recommended, and the layout was great. But seriously, you can't charge $300 for greens that were top dressed and so slow they were unputtable. At least let us know beforehand, as this was like showing up to find greens that had been punched. Also, where on earth is 2 hot dogs, a double gin and tonic and a double vodka tonic $63? The conditions ruined our day.

Old Corkscrew is a great course and ordinarily we wouldn’t baulk at paying over $400 however the greens were covered in sand dressing so the rounds should have been much cheaper.
