Windswept Dunes Golf Course
About
Windswept Dunes Golf Club tumbles across a dramatic landscape covered with white sand dunes accented by lush green fairways. The golf course appeals to players of all skill levels thanks to player-friendly features that are balanced by strategically placed hazards. Although each hole shares the characteristic of being lined with dunes, they each maintain a unique character. The rolling fairways are often wide and generous off the tee and the sand dunes, which stretch from tee too green, are only punishing of the most errant of shots. The approach shots though are as demanding as the tee shots are forgiving. There are numerous bunkers fiercely guarding the large, smooth greens. While the occasional water hazard comes into play, the bunkers are the most challenging element of Windswept Dunes Golf Club.

Great staff, beautiful course, great slice of Florida.
This is a really perfect representation of NW Florida. This is beautiful course thats very well kept. The staff inside are personable and very friendly, its a place you could kick your feet up on a Thursday night and feel like you are a local and among friends. Course has great tee boxes for whatever challenge you want for the day, bunkers are in excellent shape.
I loved every minute of my early morning round out here. If you can play it during the week and early, you will have minimal traffic.
This is well worth every penny and far exceeds the experience at the resorts.
Great round
One of the best golf courses in the surrounding area! Would play again
Wonderful
This is a hitting gym you must go play it if you're in the surrounding Florida area within 2 hrs please go play!!! Can running deals i will drive 2hrs
Windswept Dunes
Windswept Dunes offered everything that a true golfer could want. The course layout was excellent, providing a beautiful backdrop to play the wonderful and frustrating game of golf in. The tees were amazing, the fairways were awesome, and the greens were the best I have ever played. The staff were welcoming, friendly, and accommodating. For my first Florida course with my son, we had an amazing time and will be back in the future. If you are looking for a great place to play a round, this is the place to be hands down. Thank you for making my vacation time with my son an even better one with a great place to play the best game on earth!
Rushed the whole time we were there
Beautiful course but we were constantly being pushed by the marshal to pick up pace we had a 4 man group of experienced players so pace was not slow but to pay $100+ to be rushed around was beyond ridiculous im a local to the area and wont be back
Great course- funky greens
First time playing. I will go back. The fairways were beautiful, the greens were in good shape- but lots of undulations. Some of the pin placements made it more difficult than I would have liked. Our cart gps didn’t work- but the guys we played with knew the course which was very helpful
I look forward to playing it again
Windswept
Amazing course that is long from even the middle tees. Fairways were beautiful and greens rolled great. Beautiful course that I would absolutely recommend to anyone.
Great course and worth every penny!
I loved that they had several different tees to accomodate all skill levels. From the scratch golfer to the weekend warrior.
Excellent tees, fairways, and greens. The greens are huge and have a moderate speed.
I really enjoyed my round and will be back!
Amazing course!
Have played this course every year that we come down for family vacation and it gets better and better!
W O W !
Totally worth the drive from Fort Walton Beach (42miles). We’ve played every course in the area and this is by far the best course in the we played. The folks at National Golf Outlet turned us on to the track, and so glad they did. Were a little hesitant at first but the drive was worth it for sure. Amazing experience. So peaceful you can hear yourself walk on the fairways. Speaking of fairways, they are super wide, green and soft, and make for an enjoyable round. We had a 5HCP and an18HCP in our group, and both were thrilled. Tees range from 7200 to 5200 so there is something for all skill levels. Do you self a favor and make the short drive for something special.
Great value, excellent conditions and good pace of play
I had never played here before but now that I have I will play here each year when I vacation in the area. Fairways are very wide with generous greens. This is a resort style course so losing a ball is difficult to do. So this is a relaxing round if you play your yardage. If you want a challenge then you can play all the way back! Highly recommend!
