Greens need to improve
Though the greens seem to be getting better each year, they are still in very poor condition.....bumpy, dead spots,.... You have to hit firm puts, as soft puts don't go where you want them to go.
Uncut
Played from Gold tee boxes and 16 of the 18 were not cut. More like playing from 2 to 3" rough. tees didn't keep ball above the grass. Seemed like they skipped cutting a few greens as well. Red tee boxes were mostly cut and tee markers were left laying off the tee boxes a few times.
Many wet spots in fairways and rough as they are over watering to help the growth with heat coming
Course is decent but tee boxes very fuzzy
1st Time Playing Here
Both the staff in the pro shop and the Starter we’re very friendly and helpful. The courses pretty straightforward however, the tea boxes look like they have not been mowed in a while as the grass was very long. The greens are below average in size and certainly not in the best of shape as there appears to be bare spots throughout the green. unfortunately, first impressions will lead me to likely not return to the course unless I hear that there have been significant improvements made to the maintenance of the course no matter the price paid to play.
Like everyone said, course needs work
I played this course about 7-8 years ago and I was impressed. This time I was disappointed in the course.
The good:
-people are super friendly, pace of play was excellent, fairways are in good shape sand bunkers are excellent
The bad:
- greens are in rough shape, the rough is in poor condition, they also made the greens smaller, not sure why they did this, but the greens are now all postage stamp size.
I think they are trying to improve this course slowly, I hope they extend the size of the greens and get them in good shape. I could not justify $60 but $30-40 would be acceptable.
Getting better
Course is getting better and better every year once they get the greens looking a little better it will be amazing. The course looks so much better ever since the home owners took it over. Like the game of golf the course is getting better with time and maintenance. Very pleased can’t wait to return.
