Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Golfer Reviews
First time.
Great staff and course. The greens are really fast.
Ugh
July in Texas and there’s no water on the course?! The cart girl did come by every few holes, but I’m not trying to get hammered on a Tuesday… The greens had more sand than the traps. The 2nd cut is basically a nature area. If you do play this course. Stick with the tips or front tees, otherwise there’s nowhere to get a clean lie. Even the driving range looks like a goat farm. Oh, and at least bag your grass!!! Moral of the story is, Arcis (the management group) does not care about golfers. DFW will be better when they sell off. It’s sad to see such a fun layout become unplayable
What a difference 2 days makes
I played Sunday and then Tuesday. Greens went from being bumpy to being a sand pit. I played by myself both times and made great time around the course by playing in the heat. Love the layout of the course. I’ll still be back
Beat the heat!
107 that afternoon, shot an 89 and was done by 1:30p. Friday mid morn tee time so it was busy and a little slow
Better options in this area.
Course was in ok condition considering it hasn’t rained in forever. Holes are pretty straight forward. Greens were a little bumpy. Bunkers had no rakes. Balls would be sitting in divots and footprints. Pace of play 5 hours. It was pretty crowded. 2 in my group quit a little ways into the back 9. Saw the drink cart many times on the front and zero on the back which is crazy considering how long the round took. Was out of water by the 11th hole.
Good course
In spite of the very hot weather, the course is in really good shape and I enjoyed my round and always like this course because of the variety in the holes that let's you play most every club in your bag. Not really much water to get into trouble with but the OB areas can get you.
June 2022
Good shape even with the lack of rain. Greens were true. Old school golf carts without GPS tracking and restrictions on driving - HALLELUJAH!
Only bad spot are the sand traps, need to get new sand in all of them.
Bring your own water
Course was in great shape but I was disapointed in the complete lack of absence of water on the course. We also only saw one beverage cart the entire day. This seems unacceptable for a summer day in Texas, with temps over 100°
No drinking water or cart service
The course itself is in hood shape and is a good layout. However, it was 103 degrees and I had one yeti full of water with me. No cart girl, nor any water on the entire course. The course does not go back to the clubhouse after 9 so you are stuck! I was rationing a my yeti on the back 9 to baby sips. Ridiculous and dangerous!! .. At a minimum, the pro shop should alert golfers to the fact there is no water and they should stock up. Very concerning!
Flat tire woes
Had a flat tire on the way to the 6th hole and waited almost 45 minutes on a replacement cart. It appears staffing and communication were the issues. No complaints about the rest of our round.
