Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Golfer Reviews
Great greens!!
Nice layout. Great greens. 3 & 1/2 hour round on a Sunday.
IF YOU BOOK A HOT DEAL THERE WILL BE A TOURNAMENT IN FRONT OF YOU
Love the layout of this course. Can't stand the staff, they book many tee times right after tournaments. Last few times I've been there were tournaments in front of me and we played a 5 hour 9 HOLES.
IF YOU BOOK A HOTDEAL I CAN GURANTEE YOU THERE IS A TOURNAMENT AND YOU WONT FINISH 18. They will not warn you about such tournaments or give you any heads up at all. They won't even tell you in the proshop. Also goodluck getting a refund.
Very slow pace, very frustrating.
nice course
have played here many times but 1st time in long time. course was in great shape, greens were awesome and putted true--could tell they had aerated few weeks ago. for most part course is pretty open but still interesting holes and decisions have to made off tee and where you want to be in fairway to approach green. usually busy but we played Mothers Day early morning and pretty much had course to ourselves. enjoyable to play, will play it some more
The greens are way better than last time we played.
Greens were in good shape and pace was slow at first then sped up on the back 9 . Beer is a little pricey almost 30 for a sixpack . They could cut a golfer a break on on 6 and 12 packs. The cartgirls were cheerful and around more frequently than last time. Overall we had a good time and will be back when hotdeals come up.
Awesome
Mansfield National is an awesome golf course and the value of playing there is awesome!! The only concern is the pace of play that could be marshalled a bit more for the pace of play. The pro shop staff are very awesome and friendly at all time whether it morning or afternoon they alway have a smile on their faces to greet all golfer!!
Honest Review
I’ve played this course many times but it’s been a while. Let me be fair in this review and say the course and greens were in relatively good shape. That said, I will not recommend anyone coming during the weekends. It took us 6 1/2 hours to play 14 holes and eventually My buddy and I just left and went home. IT WAS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE. They had a couple pairings of 6 and a 7 that wouldn’t let anyone play through and were actually sharing clubs and taking multiple mulligans. When we complained to the club house they literally laughed and said they’d take care of it and did nothing. Multiple calls were put in from the stacks of people behind us and there were no marshalls, and a regular there said Mansfield National has become notoriously known for the brutal pace of play on the weekends. He said they have just become money hungry and as long as you pay they don’t care what happens. I thought that was a bit of an exaggeration but after playing I have no doubt there’s some truth to that. With so many courses in the area, I’ll take my business elsewhere.
NIce easy well paced warm up course
It's early in the year and we didn't want a ball eating ego smasher to start off our season. Was a great open layout, fun to play, with the opportunity to use all of your clubs and shots. Greens were some of the best I've played on. Would love to play it every day.
Green' Staff - Nightmare!
My foursome were not happy golfers...the staff were wateing the greens and would not stop. All approach shors and putting were done with two (2) staffers on the green; one continuing to hose down with water and the orher sitting. Nightmare. We never experienced anything like it.
FUN COURSE!
Great course for the $$$. Links style course with a lot of open fairways and strategically placed bunkers. Really fun to play with driving range, putting green, and kitchen/restaurant inside. Well worth it!
Nice course at at bargain price
Winter conditions, dormant Bermuda fairways. Greens in very good condition for time of year. Very difficult chipping off dormant but wet Bermuda.
This course is notorious for allowing you to book at times that should be blocked because a tournament is going on. This course is a great course, but they constantly push to load the course. I would rather they raise the price and limit tee times to enhance the experience.
