About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Course is very good condition
Challenging but a pleasure to play.
Greens hold the ball and fairways well groomed

slow play
They have way oversold this course. Course was in good condition but we actually had a sixsum in front of us. After complaining to proshop they did nothing. Really like the course but if you don't have over 5 hours to play don't go.
The course is in great shape right now!!
The greens & fairways are in great condition. The staff in the clubhouse were friendly. The girls in the kitchen & cart girls were not as friendly. That's why I gave it 3 stars. They need to be as helpful as the men that work at the course! I will play there again!

Great course, Very slow play
The course was in great condition and its a always an enjoyable round of golf there......Today was out of the norm as it was very slow. Think the great weather may have caused some overbooking! Hopefully the next round there will be much quicker.

Love the course very challenging. Though when you pair up as a 5some and your still waiting on the tee box something needed to be done.
Ok but played slow
This was a nice course and staff was excellent but nobody marshaled the course and it was slow play. The round was 4 1/2 hours should been 4 hours or less.
quickly becoming my favorite course
Greens are without question the best in north TX..
They have come along way from several years ago..
My only issue is the pace of play, very slow, and there is no-one (Marshall) ensuring the pace is maintained...continue to focus on customer service, and Mansfield will become the best course around.
Good Course, Good Deal
I really enjoy this course and play it often. It's a pretty dry right now and pace of play is always slow, but the greens are in good shape and it's always a challenge.
Nice course
The staff was very friendly and the course has it's challenges. Conditions were very windy. The course was in great shape considering the lack of rain and the greens rolled true. The pace of play was very slow mostly due to a tournament that morning. Never saw a ranger, but satisfied over-all.

Best greens around at this time! Worth the drive. Have fun!
SLOW!!!!!!!!
Quit after 14 holes and over 5 hours way to slow,
no marshals and couple groups ahead playing 5 people with 3 bags, Staff said they were just spectators but I watched them hit.
Great Municipal Course
Fairly open course but yet still a good challenge. The tee boxes and greens were in great shape. The pace of play tends to be a little slow but I would still recommend playing this course. It has become one of my regular stops

So much better than a couple of years ago
Two years ago this was a goat track. The greens were unputtable. What a transformation. Unbelievable. Congratulations Mansfield National!
Greens are looking better
The course is coming around and is looking to be in good shape after a few months of work. Greens were a little hairy but they will be great after a month or two.
Course was fun to play
Enjoyed the round. Tee boxes and greens in great shape. Fairways were hard due to lack of rain and time of the year.
Good and Bad
Greens and Tees were perfect, fairways were like parking lots. The dirt is so hard out there that blades had trouble getting through it. Really hard pan everywhere. Facility was nice, people were nice, play was soooooooooooooooooo slooooooooow! No marshal out on the course to keep people moving and with GPS you would have thought that they should have caught the slowness and gotten folks moving. At times the twosome in front of us would have just teed off and were walking to their cart and we're parked there with 3 more carts coming up the path behind us. Way slow IMHO.
Get out and golf
Course is in great shape for this time of year. Played 18 holes in 2 hours and 45 minutes. Couldn't have asked for anything better, other than my play. Lol
