Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Greens were very slow!
Generally a great course- greens need help! Fairways were nice.
The course is in great shape.
The course is in great shape. The greens are probably in the best shape than I have ever seen them. I played the round in about 3 hours 45 minutes. They did to set up the group I played with as a fivesome; however, we split up into a group of 3 and 2 after we started playing.
Nice track in good condition
I have played the course several times and the course is in very good condition. The greens were rolling great. It is unfortunate that there was not a course marshal to be found on Saturday. Our round took a little over 5 hours because of an extremely slow foursome in front of us. We waited on every hole and from viewing their golf skills they let their ego convince them to play from a back set of tees that they had no business playing from. When we would pull up behind them the alcohol they were consuming led them to tell us to slow down and enjoy the day so them allowing us to play through was never offered.
Great shape
The course is in the best shape it's ever been in. A slow Friday afternoon allowed our foursome to play in just over 3 1/2 hours. Never happens on this course due to heavy play.
the cousre played tough from the tipsand i enjoyed it.
the course played tough from the tips and I enjoyed it.
Great deal for the money if you live south of the metroplex.
I would play this course more offen if i live down south of the DFW. Great! deal and the course is always in good shape to play in. Fun course to play. Weekend is packed! My Tee time was about 30mins behind, took me 5 hours to finished the round. For me is not worth the drive since I live in the MID-city area which has better course and rate.
first four holes link style , the rest was more traditional with dog legs, force carries
the course was in very good shape the greens were great, I had very enjoyable round
These grens are absolutely perfect
I last played this course about 16-18 months ago when it was in terrible shape. The fairways were sparse and the greens were not puttable. I played last night and it might be the best course, condition wise out of any public course in the metroplex, that I have played this year. I play 2-3 times a week and try to play all over north Texas and Mansfield National is as nice as any out there right now. It may very well be the best one for the money this month.
great course for the money..
You need to play there at least once. Great course.
This course has great features and plays great!
Very nice course with challenges for every player level. Will defiantly play there again.
windy conditions
Ground is hard. Go OB and your ball will be lost. Bring lots of balls.
Very windy conditions, maybe better on less windy days.
Close to Home and Nice shape
I play 9 holes early mornings here almost every other week. The value is good and the course is in very nice shape. The greens are fairly quick and fairways remain in good shape. #5 is one of my favorite holes with a 200 yd carry on a par 3 over a marsh area. Good course for the money and reasonably priced.
This course has made great improvement since I played last year
The course was in the best shape I ever seen and the price was average, but not over price. The staff was great, and the incentive the golf course had at a par three was first class, if you pay 10 dollars and hit green you receive $20.00 and $10.00 with a drink if you miss the green. First class Mansfield!!!
good public course
the first four holes need some attention. the greens are in good shape but people need to repair your ball marks on the greens. from number five on the course is in good shape.
Good track. Will definitely play again
Good track. Will definitely play again. Very good value and course was fun
Great course for a great price.
Course was very nice and what makes it even better is the price. Its worth the drive from Fort Worth. The best course under 30 bucks that i've played so far.
Mansfield National is very good golf course.
Mansfield National is good golf course.
Greens and fairways are great.
One of the Better Values in DFW Public Golf Courses!
I played Mansfield on a beautiful afternoon in May....I found the course to be in good condition with the Greens in excellent shape. The teeboxes and fairways were a bit undergrown and looked as if they could use a good watering but I was very pleased with the greens....very smooth and even; if you made a good putt you were generally rewarded with a true roll. I play on many of the public courses in DFW and for the $30 I paid at Mansfield I think it's one of the best values out there!
Great value - Cute cart girls.....
This course lulls you to sleep for the during the first 4 holes, then lowers to boom. The course gets tighter and more challenging. I always enjoy this course because it does not have any just dumb holes - all are fair with decent shots.
On this afternoon we met and played with a couple for Canada - great time - they were playing some good golf for their season just starting.... maybe we will see them again someday....
Greens in Great shape
After losing greens last sumer this course has done a great job in bringing them back.
