Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Golfer Reviews
Fun
Course was very challenging for me. Enjoyed it.Green well maintained and bunkers around most.
Best as can be for the time if year.
The fairways are fine, with some muddy patches that can't seen to dry out. The greens are good, with some neededing to be mowed as soon as the winter grass fills in. Had a great time, besides stay on the fairway and you will do fine. The staff is the best, from the clubhouse to the cart girls.
Friendly reminder, fix your ball marks and dievets and any course will play better for all.
Good course. Greens need work. Really thick and sliw
Like playing course for the money. Good golfnow prices. Greens not to my liking, but overall good course really fun.
Poor pace of play no Marshall's muddy around many greens
It looked like someone had driven a 4 wheeler or something on and around some of the greens. Many of the greens had mud surrounding them. It's not a bad course but it seems like the players here don't respect it (driving carts within inches of greens no common golf courtesy etc). No Marshall's at all. I probably won't be back I couldn't imagine playing here on the weekend with a 4 hour round on a Tuesday at 10 am.
Great course, almost there
I have been playing this course for over 10 years and this might be the best condition I have seen it. The good: Bunkers are filled with nice fluffy sand and new drains to keep it from turning into the mud pit it has been in the past. Now if they would cover the drains it would be pristine. However it's so much better than before. The greens are 100% better than a year ago when they were battling some fungus issues. You are truly rewarded for hitting the fairway which isn't always the case at municipal courses in the area. The bad: There was 2 singles in the two groups in front of us. I suggested they play together and they did, but I wonder why the course didn't suggest the same thing? The weather was mild, 80F and windy (typical for Mansfield) and yet the green watering schedule seemed to be on par for mid August leaving the fringe area soaking wet. On hole 8 there were tire tracks and mud to contend with. Some attention to this would be nice. I pre-paid on Golf Now to secure a $20 rate, an amazing deal for a course the rates mid $30's for mid day tee time (ours was 1:45pm). The course has come a LONG way, I had refused to play there for the past year so it was a nice refresher to come out. Give it a shot and enjoy the mostly wide open course.
May be best value in metroplex
Great summer condition, wonderful staff, good selection of tees for different levels, or just to challenge yourself
Great!
Course in excellent condition. The only negative is there was a tournament before our tee time, and our tee time was 30 minutes late. Other than that ... A great experience.
enjoyed the experiance
i never played the course prior to the visit. it was very open and nicely taken care of. there was no one to pressure us to be fast and no one to wait for. cant wait to go back.
well kept, fun course
Staff was friendly and professional. Overall great experience, will be back for sure.
decent course for the money
Course was in decent shape considering the weather conditions (seems like 100+ consecutive 100º weather).
Greens were a little inconsistent, but understandable again considering the weather we've had. Overall conditions were very good and will definitely play again soon. Doesn't hurt that I had a career round either though!
Great course. Well maintained. Friendly staff.
GPS included on carts. Tee boxes slightly confusing as they do not use black, blue, white, and red; and what would be their version of white appeared to me too close. Might just be me. Will definitely play again.
Great little course.... if you have the time
Great little course, excellent value for the money. Only opportunity is pace of play... Course is loaded up on the weekends. Play slows as soon as everyone piles up for Hole #5 the challenging 200 yrd par three.
Good value, easy course
Great value if you use golf now app. Great course for beginners.
The greens are very slow
The greens are very slow so it takes some time to get use to if you normally play a fast course. They are also really soft so the ball stops on a dime. I got 4-5 shots from 100+ within 3 ft
Fun and Fast
Young man behind the counter seemed distracted but the course itself was in good shape. Would say great shape however; the greens had just been aerated so...
