Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Fun and Fast
Young man behind the counter seemed distracted but the course itself was in good shape. Would say great shape however; the greens had just been aerated so...
Has some challenging holes.
The only negative comment I have is they don't sell Coca Cola.
Good greens, wide open fairways
I was pleasantly surprised at the good conditions at the course. I will play there again soon and bring buddies.
Course is in great summer (Texas Summer) shape.
Staff was very friendly and warm. Fairways were pristine and the greens considering the 100 degree days were in great summer shape. Go play one of the best bargains in the DFW.
Good value, well-maintained course
I play here pretty regularly and always find it to be a good deal for whatever price I pay (I'm a weekday golfer). Fairways are usually nice and the greens are pretty consistent. Cart girls are always out and the water jugs are usually well-stocked during this hot Texas summer.
This course gives and takes. Looks easy but has a lot of challenges.
This course layout looks easy but if you do not stay focused, you can easily find yourself in a fairway bunker, behind trees, in woods, in hazards, etc. It appears to be wide open however it is far from that in my opinion. If you can stay in the fairway, you will score well. I like this course and will be back to play again.
This course is usually always maintained.
I played this course for the first time in about two years last Friday. It wasn't what I remembered. The drought has really taken it's toll on courses even in the DFW area. The fairways weren't bad, but it's the greens that suffered. I remembered them being fast and smooth. They still had some speed on them, but were very bumpy. Not as smooth and quick as they once were. Still a good course though. Always loved playing it and glad I got in on Friday. Saturday's and Sunday's means 5+ hour rounds. We played in right at 3.5 hours. but what's with charging the extra $5 for gps??? i think your green fee should cover gps use.
Greens were very slow!
Generally a great course- greens need help! Fairways were nice.
The course is in great shape.
The course is in great shape. The greens are probably in the best shape than I have ever seen them. I played the round in about 3 hours 45 minutes. They did to set up the group I played with as a fivesome; however, we split up into a group of 3 and 2 after we started playing.
Nice track in good condition
I have played the course several times and the course is in very good condition. The greens were rolling great. It is unfortunate that there was not a course marshal to be found on Saturday. Our round took a little over 5 hours because of an extremely slow foursome in front of us. We waited on every hole and from viewing their golf skills they let their ego convince them to play from a back set of tees that they had no business playing from. When we would pull up behind them the alcohol they were consuming led them to tell us to slow down and enjoy the day so them allowing us to play through was never offered.
Great shape
The course is in the best shape it's ever been in. A slow Friday afternoon allowed our foursome to play in just over 3 1/2 hours. Never happens on this course due to heavy play.
Great deal for the money if you live south of the metroplex.
I would play this course more offen if i live down south of the DFW. Great! deal and the course is always in good shape to play in. Fun course to play. Weekend is packed! My Tee time was about 30mins behind, took me 5 hours to finished the round. For me is not worth the drive since I live in the MID-city area which has better course and rate.
first four holes link style , the rest was more traditional with dog legs, force carries
the course was in very good shape the greens were great, I had very enjoyable round
These grens are absolutely perfect
I last played this course about 16-18 months ago when it was in terrible shape. The fairways were sparse and the greens were not puttable. I played last night and it might be the best course, condition wise out of any public course in the metroplex, that I have played this year. I play 2-3 times a week and try to play all over north Texas and Mansfield National is as nice as any out there right now. It may very well be the best one for the money this month.
great course for the money..
You need to play there at least once. Great course.
This course has great features and plays great!
Very nice course with challenges for every player level. Will defiantly play there again.
Close to Home and Nice shape
I play 9 holes early mornings here almost every other week. The value is good and the course is in very nice shape. The greens are fairly quick and fairways remain in good shape. #5 is one of my favorite holes with a 200 yd carry on a par 3 over a marsh area. Good course for the money and reasonably priced.
