Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Golfer Reviews
good public course
the first four holes need some attention. the greens are in good shape but people need to repair your ball marks on the greens. from number five on the course is in good shape.
Great course for a great price.
Course was very nice and what makes it even better is the price. Its worth the drive from Fort Worth. The best course under 30 bucks that i've played so far.
One of the Better Values in DFW Public Golf Courses!
I played Mansfield on a beautiful afternoon in May....I found the course to be in good condition with the Greens in excellent shape. The teeboxes and fairways were a bit undergrown and looked as if they could use a good watering but I was very pleased with the greens....very smooth and even; if you made a good putt you were generally rewarded with a true roll. I play on many of the public courses in DFW and for the $30 I paid at Mansfield I think it's one of the best values out there!
Great value - Cute cart girls.....
This course lulls you to sleep for the during the first 4 holes, then lowers to boom. The course gets tighter and more challenging. I always enjoy this course because it does not have any just dumb holes - all are fair with decent shots.
On this afternoon we met and played with a couple for Canada - great time - they were playing some good golf for their season just starting.... maybe we will see them again someday....
Greens in Great shape
After losing greens last sumer this course has done a great job in bringing them back.
Fun Course with a good layout!
I played Mansfield on a Hot Deal offer and I'm glad that I did. I enjoyed the layout and staff frienldiness. I felt that the greens were on the slow side but I would reccommend this course to any golfer.
Really nice track!
The pace of play was determined by an absolutely beautiful day for golf....it was slow, as the playing conditions were magnificent. The course was in great shape as well, despite the bunkers having entirely too much sand. A rather unusual problem for daily fee courses. All that aside the staff hustled at every opportunity to move things along, everyone was polite and attentive, and I look forward to a return visit.
very nice course weather was great
last year they lost the Greens to a fungus so I stayed away. But this time I found the greens to be in great shape and fast.
Great course better than I thought
It had been a while since I came and it was great.
Corse double and triple books tee times
This Corse not only was running 25 min behind, but when I arrived there was a group of 12 yes 12 on # 1 tee box 6 carts a group of 3 played together, and not only that they RAN OUT of carts?? So when I was never called to the box, and the party I was told was playing with was called, I walked in the club house to find the 3rd person of that party Yelling and complaining about him not having a cart but his buddies did. So the guy handed him a key and let him walk out. I then walked up to clubhouse guy and asked if I was still playing with that group, he told me yes and I needed to catch up with that guy on the tee box and Inform him I was to ride with him, a complete stranger that just got done yelling at the clubhouse guy. So needless to say I turned around and walked out NEVER to Play that course again. They should buy more carts rather than adding an extra parking lot to fill up with all the double and triple booked tee times!!
Long wait
Course was great Only problem was at the first Teebox there was a backup of two groups, teed off thirty minutes late slow pace with
no Marshall pushing pace along.
Solid course
I heard the stories from last year when the greens where in real bad shape but that has been corrected. All in all a good course, not great, but solid good. As good or better than any other courses in this price range, (i paid 37.00).
COURSE IS EASY BUT BACK 9 UNDER CONSTRUCTION
BACK 9 UNDER CONSTRUCTION AROUND 15TH HOLE. GREEN WERE IS GOOD CONDITION. BETTER THAN LAKE ARLINGTON OR GRAND OAKS GREEN-WISE. EASY COURSE.
Greens are in great shape!!!
Greens are in great shape!!! The fairways and tee boxes need some attention. Spring is early, and I know Mansfield will bring them up to par. No pun intended!!!
always enjoy playing mansfield national
the greens were great! they have done a great job bringing the course back to good conditions. unfortunately the last 3 times i have played here the staff doesn't seem to be organized. it seems that they know that the course will have plenty of business regardless of the level of service.
