Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Golfer Reviews
Solid course
I heard the stories from last year when the greens where in real bad shape but that has been corrected. All in all a good course, not great, but solid good. As good or better than any other courses in this price range, (i paid 37.00).
COURSE IS EASY BUT BACK 9 UNDER CONSTRUCTION
BACK 9 UNDER CONSTRUCTION AROUND 15TH HOLE. GREEN WERE IS GOOD CONDITION. BETTER THAN LAKE ARLINGTON OR GRAND OAKS GREEN-WISE. EASY COURSE.
Greens are in great shape!!!
Greens are in great shape!!! The fairways and tee boxes need some attention. Spring is early, and I know Mansfield will bring them up to par. No pun intended!!!
always enjoy playing mansfield national
the greens were great! they have done a great job bringing the course back to good conditions. unfortunately the last 3 times i have played here the staff doesn't seem to be organized. it seems that they know that the course will have plenty of business regardless of the level of service.
Greens looked great!!!
Greens were THE greenest I've seen in years at this course!!! Rolled a lil slow, buy looked incredible!!! Def worth $40 on a weekend. A coupe short par 4's to make ya feel better;)
Geat Value and nice track
I enjoyed this course and it was a great value for the DFW area. I played on a windy day which was challenging as the course is wide open. Greens were in great shape for mid-March. Several blind shots, particularly on a couple sharp dog-legs. Fun course that I would definately play again when in the area. Hope to play in again when the fairways have greened up./
Ok
The course was really nice, what i did mot like was that i booked a tee time with u guys with the lunch special, and when i get there me and my friends they tell us that the lunch was not included n the deal because i went through u guys.if we had known that i would have went somewhere else to play for the money we spent $48.00 for a rd of golf and $10.00 for lunch so we didnt save any money going through you guys,we where very disappointed
The course is in great shape even this early in the year
Young man behind the desk in the pro shop only wanted us out of there. He did not offer either of us our receipts or tell us whether or not to show them to the starter. Course was exceptional for this time of year, and I can't wait to go back.
We had a fun day but the pace of play was TOO SLOW!
Pace of play was extremely slow. We played our round in exactly 5 hours! Tee times booked too close together.
Challenging but need more attentive personnel
This is the second time I have booked with Golfnow and was postponed by a tournament the first time(which took precedent over my foursome) and by lack of available carts the second time, but at least on the second occasion I received a free bucket of range balls. If this continues, I would hope the rates go down.
Nice course
I have played this course many times and have always enjoyed it. Greens are in great shape.
Good Greens and Tee Boxes
In the past Mansfield has been a very good course. But this round was not good. This round at Mansfield was the LONGEST round that I have ever played. 6 hours 10 min. They stacked 3-4 groups per hole and we were at a snail’s pace. Through the 6 hours we never saw a marshal and only saw the cart girl 4 times. Hole 1, Hole 7, Hole 12 and Hole 18. Needless to say it was a very long day. On the positive, it is February and we are playing golf. The Tee boxes and the Greens were in good shape. The staff was apologetic and returned our money that we paid for the round.
Ball washers worked!
The day we played the wind was blowing at 30+ mph so it was not the most conducive weather for a round but I enjoyed playing the course, it was on my level challenge wise and all the ball washers worked and had soap in them, seems to be a premium now at most courses. All in all, I would go back, would like to see some better online deals.
Some challenging holes -- interesting course.
Greens and tees over seeded providing nice appearance and smooth putting surface although a little slow. Had not played here in a couple of years. Need to go back more often and get better acquainted with the course.
Great course but absent marshalls.
I played the course on a Saturday morning and the staff were very polite and apologetic that tee times were running behind even though it was only 9:15am. Our tee time was 10:00 but we didn't actually hit our first drive until 45mins later. With THREE groups backed up on the #2 tees the marshalls seemed to ignore the traffic jam and allow slow groups to play at a pace similar to turtle racing. This caused for a 5 1/2 hour round!! Ridiculous! Either someone overbooked tee times or forgot to inform the marshalls of their job description. I loved the course, it was in great shape, and I would love to play again. I'll be hesitant though to play a spring/summer round if the winter is so log jammed. I'd recommend the course only on the condition that it's on a weekday if you want to have any fun playing.
Easy start, challenging ending
This course, for being in winter, had very good greens. Fairways were okay (but in winter this can be expected). The first four holes are wide open, good to get in the groove, then as the holes progress they get tighter and tighter. Then the last hole is a wide dogleg to the left, great finish.
