Mansfield National Golf Club
About
Mansfield National Golf Club's tees range from 5,263 to 6,850 yards and the course plays to a par 72. The large, undulating greens make for inviting targets. The fairways are lined by every type of tree imaginable, with bunkers looming to suck in tee shots. Scores can add up on holes 11 and 16, with the lake coming into play, but water comes into play on only four holes total. The best hole is no. 5, considered one of the toughest par 3s in north Texas. It plays a very 3-wood-like 233 yards into a tough green that's hard to hold with the wind at your back. Located just south of Arlington Mansfield National also offers FootGolf, a combination of soccer and golf.

Golfer Reviews
One of my Favorites
The price of this course with the golfnow deals are unmatched. Greens are a whole lot better than before. The layout is challenging and wide open for big hitters. Staff is always friendly and the course conditions are above average. Best value in the metroplex.
They're right - Conditions Improved
Mansfield Natnl has made significant improvements in course conditions since I played there over a year ago. Fairways are well maintained with no bare spots, the tee boxes and greens have been overseeded for play as the season gets cooler and the place is generally spruced-up.
This course mostly runs north/south - so the wind is either with you or against you.
The par-3 5th and #18 are the most interesting holes on the course - takes some thought on how to play both of them - generally, stay right!
There is an extra $5 charge to use the on-cart GPS - but, they will gladly refund it if you use your own unit.
nice course
This was a nice course. Greens were in average shape and a bit slow, but they were large and undulating making them challenging. The sand traps weren't really sand but more like dirt. Staff was friendly and pace of playing was faster than expected.
Nice course, good value
Nice course, good value, challenging, friendly staff
Great course for the money. Beautiful and fun to play
It's hard to find a better value course in this area. Ideal course for the low shooter and not to difficult for the average golfer. It's the kind of Course that that doesn't get boring even after repeative rounds . A must to play if your looking for course that's easy on your budget but plays like a high end course.
good course to play.
